Em's Restaurant — Restaurant in Miami

Ok i will try my best to say this without any bitterness or slander. I vow to give my honest review despite the not so good experience. For one i ordered 2 lunch specials for my husband and I. I ordered him rice and wings and for me a Chinese mix veg and exchanged my rice to shrimp rice.

When i got there i asked the lady i guess EM if my husband and I could sit there and eat. There were plenty of tables. She told me no. I was a bit dissapointed because obviously people want to relax and eat. I mentioned to her that i was giving her business and she had seating available before i paid . So since i had not paid yet she said ok but only this time. I considered it but we decided to just eat in the van. Since it would have been akward.

Now to the food: my husband liked his wings.He was hungry and he is a very much content man (thank GOD) so he almost always likes his food. Lol

I will say i had better chinese food for sure. The rice could have passed for mexican rice and i dont mean it in a bad way. What i mean is it didnt have that chinese fried rice kind of taste. It was soft with big chunks of eggs which some may like that.The vegtables were extra big and saucy. I didn't finish it i end up just eating the rice with the shrimp b.c i ordered "shrimp fried rice". The shrimp were good.

Would I go back? Most likely not. I wouldn't to want spend money just to give em a second chance of disappointment. No hard feelings. Just on to the next there are many other options in this city. But the place did have some customers there under 10 people.Good luck and i hope you have a...

I Personally an from Boston and I love Ems Chinese restaurant it really reminds me of chinese food from back home which is hard to find here in Miami my favorite us the beef lomein and veggies with a side order of crab ragoon the reason for the 4 star rating is the crab ragoon is fried perfectly but it needs to be way more creamier and cheesier the amount of crab is stuffed but has no taste if the added like a sweeter cream cheese and add that to their crab ragoon filling it would be banging i order crab ragoon no matter what chinese food restaurant I go to its a must for me and so im a crab ragoon critic from Boston to Miami lol nosa but frfr dont be fooled by the lil shack Ems is great their white rice is flavorful and fluffy and actually comes with an order if lo-mein and the person who served wish I got his name was kind enough to advise me of that and offered my free white rice which I appreciated and he also was very pleasant he stated 15 mins when I arrived at the window my food was ready I am also a chef so I hope they consider adding more creamy sweeter cheese to their crab ragoon and some salt and i would have given a five star bc everything thing else was hot...

Pleasantly surprised even having seen high rating on here. Ordered Mongolian Beef Dinner Combo in house and was promptly served deliciously seasoned egg drop soup with fresh crispy noodles. My taste buds were already buzzing when my main course arrived. Excellent quality, cut and tasting beef with scallion, onions etc. Noticed and appreciated more authentic veggie selection compared to run o the mill standard American Chinese. Chose plain white rice to taste the main course better and was glad I did. Egg roll was fresh, juicy and paradoxically crispy. No nonsense yet comforting ambiance. And affordable.
