I had high hopes for this place. It is walking distance from our house and MIMO really needs a good breakfast place. The good: It's a cool space, nice location, good vibe and server was great. The bad: The food. There were few redeeming qualities. In fact, it was the worst food experience I've had in a long time. Not only would I not recommend eating here, I highly recommend avoiding the food. My wife ordered the avocado toast ($16) and I am >90% confident the "avocado" was simply store bought guacamole spread thinly on a piece of toast sprinkled with seeds. 2/10 My son ordered the pancakes which had lemon in them, not mentioned on the menu and were very dry. The server was kind enough to offer a replacement so he ordered a medium rare burger. The burger arrived 20 minutes later cooked "extra well done." We took it to go and promptly discarded it when we got home. 1/10 I ordered the Eggs Benedict which, according to the menu, (and tradition) is supposed to be served on an english muffin. Mine came on a bagel. Eggs were perfectly cooked and the sauce had good flavor but c'mon!? A bagel? 5/10 I also ordered a side of sausage. Inedible. It was store bought precooked sausage, recooked and forgotten about on the burner b/c it was dry. And, it's hard to dry out chemically laden, store bought sausage. Maybe, just maybe, their business can survive on the motel guests willing to overpay for bad food b/c it is convenient. But, if they want to thrive, they need locals (there are many!) to support them. And with the current chef/management/quality I suspect it will not be around much longer. Note to chef: I understand the need to maximize your margins. However, if you use low quality ingredients, charge premium prices yet customers do not return; are you really better off?

Love the vibe, the music, service was great. Finding it was tricky and parking was on street but we didn't have to pay for it so that was good. My husband and our friend really enjoyed their pesto, Hawaiian pizzas ✅✅ I got the burger and was not asked how I wanted it done. It was well done ➖ the fries were good though ✅ The music and DJ were on point. I loved everything he played ✅ I was using a crutch so the stairs and the wet floor were a real problem for me ➖ Now for the đŸš» I had to go outside of the restaurant to find the bathroom. It was a one stall. It was clean, passable. Pee or pass: Pee ✅

I’m still disgusted thinking about this experience. I found a roach in my beer after drinking the entire glass. The beer never left my hands, so there’s no question about where it came from. What made the situation worse is that no manager ever came to address it. I reached out via social media, email, and text messages, yet received no response before leaving this review. This level of neglect is unacceptable. Management does not seem to take matters seriously, whether inside the restaurant or outside. Truly disappointing and disturbing.

Review: Mad Radio – Underground Vibes in the Heart of Miami

Mad Radio is a hidden gem in Miami’s underground DJ scene—a local spot where you’ll catch some of the city’s most dedicated house heads. It’s not necessarily where I’ve heard my favorite music, but some of my favorite DJs do play there, and that alone makes it worth the visit.

If you’re into underground house music and want to discover raw, real talent, definitely check it out. DJs like Francesco Theodoli and Diego Dommenianni—two of Miami’s most infamous underground house masters—throw down serious sets here. When they’re on, the vibe is elevated and the music is really good.

Mad Radio can be hit-or-miss depending on the night and who’s spinning, but that’s part of the charm. It’s low-key, kind of hidden, and has that “only the locals know” feel. I wouldn’t say it’s my first choice on any given night, but if you’re looking for a true underground experience or just want to catch some great local talent, it’s worth...

I recently visited Don's Five Star Dive Bar located in the Selina Gold Dust Hotel and had a great time. The service was friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The music was also very good, and the vibe was perfect for a night out with friends.

While the drinks were not the best I've had, they were certainly pretty good and not too expensive, which was a plus. However, one curious thing to note was that their payment system was down, and they could only accept CashApp payments or cash only. This may be an inconvenience for some, but it wasn't a dealbreaker for me.

Overall, Don's Five Star Dive Bar was a nice spot to hang out and enjoy some good drinks and music. The friendly service and casual atmosphere made it an enjoyable experience. If you're looking for a laid-back spot to grab a drink with friends, I would definitely recommend...
