So listen , this restaurant might get better. It’s something different for Miami BUT here are my observations. First thing is the menu has probably 150 if not more items on it , that is not a good sign . The wait staff need direction and since this is the second time we have gone and the plates came out several minutes apart it appears to me the kitchen staff probably needs direction too. “ not the staffs fault “ the staff were all very pleasant ( again no direction) . Now back to the menu , it is always better to do a smaller menu with fresh ingredients and do it WELL than a ginormous menu and I mean 4 pages crammed with dishes all very similar and not done well. I don’t want this restaurant to fail but if they continue with ingredients that are just heated up from a restaurant supply of premade dishes and not cooked fresh it will definitely fail. Go try it and see for yourself make your own decision on it. I know that I am a very hard critic on Italian food because of where I grew up but quality food no matter whether it’s down home cooking , Mexican, Italian , burgers whatever , its going to be good if it is made from quality ingredients and it is not there yet for Mia Bella. Inconsistent portions( same dish one was very noticeably larger) Luke warm in the center( kitchen thermometer before it goes out) Pasta water pooled on the plate ( from not draining the pasta well enough before plating) My biggest pet peeve when I go to a restaurant ? I choose my entree by looking at the description of ingredients and if the dish comes out with missing ingredients I’m pissed. Because it doesn’t taste like what it should. I hope this review can be used by Mia Bella as constructive criticism and you can thrive and become a Miami staple . I know it’s only been Two weeks truly I do !! I will try again in a couple months possibly. Miami needs variety but it needs to also be fresh and tasty and...
Read moreMia Bella Italian Kitchen: A Taste of Italy That Will Keep You Coming Back! Mia Bella Italian Kitchen in Miami has truly mastered the art of Italian comfort food, offering dishes that are both deeply satisfying and incredibly flavorful. My recent visits have left me thoroughly impressed, particularly with their standout Italian Sub and their unbelievably delicious calzone. The Italian Sub at Mia Bella is nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. Each layer contributes to a symphony of flavors and textures. Generous portions of tender Canadian bacon, savory ham, and zesty pepperoni are perfectly balanced by the sweet, caramelized notes of sautéed onions. The freshly baked bread provides a satisfying crunch that encases all the deliciousness within. But the true showstopper, the element that elevates this sub to divine status, is the rich, creamy cheese sauce. It's utterly decadent and ties all the ingredients together in a harmonious blend that leaves you craving more with every bite. It's no wonder this sub has earned a loyal following – it's a taste sensation that will keep you coming back. And if you thought the sub was good, prepare to be amazed by their calzone. This, too, was beyond delicious – incredibly creamy and bursting with flavor. The addition of jalapeños provided a fantastic, subtle kick that perfectly complemented the richness of the cheese and other fillings. To complete this truly satisfying meal, I highly recommend pairing it with one of their house margaritas. The refreshing tang of the margarita cuts through the richness of the food beautifully, creating a perfect balance that enhances the entire dining experience. Mia Bella Italian Kitchen delivers on its promise of authentic and incredibly tasty Italian cuisine. Whether you're a fan of classic subs or crave a perfectly executed calzone, you won't be disappointed. It's a culinary destination that truly lives up...
