Naomi Garden is a spot that I visit often for the Bouillon and Grouper. I love love as well as the steamed veges and spinach. The legume is 🔥 as well. The staff are a family and one of my favorite treats dining from there is the service from Natalie and the other older lady who work there. Sometimes the kitchen will get hit with a rush, and when they do, these two ladies always make me feel special. The other staff are attentive as well, but Natalie's smile is like a warm hug through the glass 🤗 Tonight the restaurant had an issue and due to the long term health needs of one of the employees, had a rough nite and weren't staffed as normal. Really upset with an packing issue of my meal, Noam the owner, answered the call right away. This was rather impressive to me because on Friday nights most restaurants are not answering phones without putting you on hold for long wait times hoping you hang up and forget about the problem. The owner personally repackaged my meal and delivered it to my home address. He was very open-minded and insightful also taking feedback to improve the to go packaging of the soups. They have been in business for over 40 years and it's understandable as to how. Naomi's is family oriented and holds patience and appreciation for the elders and employees who have been loyal to the Naomi's concept for decades..I have had many wonderful experiences at Naomis, and this rougher evening only made me feel even more inclined to give them another try because they are still 100% human operated, no AI, and humans can and will make mistakes, and from those same mistakes, they can find lessons for improvement. I truly appreciate this business and I wish them a long prosperity. As long as the owner remains open-minded and hands on as he has been to correct fallacies, I will see them for their Bouillon weekly. And the spinach, legume, bean sauce, grouper, patat, etc. By the way they have fresh juices, some cold pressed, which are truly full of vitamins and add vitality to the soul. I appreciate Naomi's for the various meal offerings they provide daily and the service. Reviews can offer much needed feedback to a business, especially if you can't reach the management right away to fix the issue but this wasn't my case. Read the reviews, but still give them a try. One customer's bad experience on this day, could be another customer's best experience at this restaurant, on that exact same day. It's life and we got to remember to take the good with the bad. Okay so I gave this restaurant a half and half review here's why... First off I love supporting black businesses and I'm glad there are so many here in Florida
Good :The food was GREAT the kingfish with the plantains and rice was amazing and the Leche vegan dish was amazing the online prices looked great
Bad : the owner or the worker there acted as if she could barely understand me and had a very bad attitude when I was asking about the different options. It was only because of experienced customers in line who explained what each thing was and recommended what I should get did I know. I asked what something was on the menu and she mumbled several different things and then finally said it's a sweet potato
After ordering my food she rang me up for each item Separately if you look at the menu it says each entree comes with a 2 sides.....my order went from being 15$ to 33.50$ after she charged me individually I asked her why the extra charges and she ran my card while acting as if she couldn't understand me, I pointed out the menu and she said I'm lucky that she discounted everything.
Me and my wife usually will combat any nonsense when it comes to customer service but she was acting as if she couldn't understand us and was walking away ignoring us
As I stood there trying to talk to the lady which I think is the owner I watched the man working there ring up the next customer and I seen they weren't extra charged I left after cause it was just EXTREME BAD SERVICE

Read moreOn February 23, 2021, I attempted to redeem a 25% off coupon toward 'Naomi's Garden Restaurant and Lounge' in Miami, Fl. This coupon is from a legitimate coupon website ‘diningdvantage.com’ and several other restaurants are a part of this program. When I presented the gentleman with the coupon at the register, he promptly responded with "that's only online". I negated that by showing him the mobile coupon option (to be presented in person) on the Dining Advantage website, displayed with the restaurant’s authentic logo. He then decided to seek assistance from his colleague. She immediately stated that the restaurant doesn't accept "that coupon". I continued by also showing her the site on my phone, as I did him. She disappeared into the kitchen space behind her and the gentleman said she was "making a call" to confirm and would be back.
She returned and said that the restaurant has decided not to participate in this program and is working to join another coupon service. May I add she was unprofessional, rude, and quite dismissive as she spoke to my boyfriend and I.
I have since sent an email to Dining Advantage and their response was as such, “Within the process of creating the offer, the business is responsible for identifying the discount, providing any necessary logos/graphics (including menus), bar codes (if needed), coupon codes (if needed) and any applicable limitations (i.e., fine print).
