On a whim, we decided to stop by KFCâsomething we rarely ever do. Ordering for multiple people turned out to be quite a bit chaotic, with us juggling conversations with multiple people in the car about what they wanted and the drive-thru speaker. The drive-speaker handled it well and confirmed what we wanted.
When we reached the window, we were told part of the order would take seven minutes. We were supposed to pull up and wait for it. In the meantime we received our drinks and some of the food. We were exhausted and hungry, so without checking the bag, we simply drove off.
Back home, sitting outside on the deck, ready to dig in, we realized two things: first, part of our order was missing, and second, the food we did receive was completely wrong! Oddly enough, we had more food than we'd actually prdered and paid for. However, a couple things we did want had not been included. Frustrated, I packed up everything and managed to spill one of the drinks all over the table and deck in the process.
I headed back to KFC to explain the mix-up. Instead of arguing, the order taker just asked what would make things right. I told him I wanted the missing food along with what we already had, plus a replacement for the drink I spilled. He laughed and graciously said heâd gladly give me another drink.

I've been to this location several times before and had always had good food and good service but for some reason this was not the case. I went inside and was the only person at the counter and it took almost 10 minutes to get waited on. The young man who was at the drive thru finally realized nobody else was waiting on me so he took off his headset and started over but stopped for a moment when someone in the back asked what he was doing after I hear someone say someone was at the counter. When he did come over he seemed bewildered about my wanting just a chicken snack and no sides and was going to charge me per piece. I then decided that I'd wasted enough of my time and ordered a potpie and popcorn chicken. I got home and the potpie crust was so hard it crackled and the popcorn chicken was pretty much inedible it was so hard. I was going to call but I wasn't even given a receipt. When I was waiting for my food someone in the back started ordering the guy waiting on me to empty the trash and lock the door. I won't be back. I waisted about $10 on inedible food.    Read moreI stopped in to pick up dinner on my way home. Ordered my food paid and left. As soon as I got home, I noticed they gave me the wrong food. I called them to see if I could somehow get my card refunded As I wasnât able to go back out this evening and the manager told me that I ordered the wrong food and they didnât do anything wrong. The worst part was, they were all so busy chitchatting with each other I could hear them over the drive-through microphone the entire time I was trying to order. Never once in my entire life have I ordered anything except for the number 16 but they stood firm that I had ordered incorrectly. Total lack of accountability on the management and employee team. There should have been no issue refunding my card over the phone. There may have been a lack of knowledge of how to do so, but itâs not impossible. Poorly trained management is the root of the problem. At the end of the day I just have to take the $10 loss and figure out something else for tonight but I wonât go back to this...
