My husband and I went here after an experience at Ashley Furniture down the street. We are younger in our 20’s and getting our first king bed. We had fully intended on buying a bed at Ashley Furniture because we already had a credit card for it and thought that would be easiest. We went to Ashley and found the one we wanted and we only asked for a few minutes to talk it over. Not even a minute later the sales person came back up to us 4 separate times in a span of ten minutes. I understand it’s their job but there’s no need to be that pushy. I myself am a sales person and I try to not do that to others. I needed to give background information to show why I loved Mattress Firm so much. Upon walking in Ronnin greeted us and let us know the layout of the store. We let him know we were just looking since we weren’t sure if there would be anything we liked or not. He gave us space but was available to grab when needed. We found a bed here we liked better, it was cheaper and more comfy than the bed at Ashley. Thank you so much for making a stressful shopping experience better by giving us space and time to think about such a large purchase. As well as helping us with all our questions. Began my mattress search with Trew at the Beavercreek Location. He was thorough in explanation of pillow and mattress type assessments which I found very helpful in selecting the correct mattress for a restful nights sleep. He then furthered my knowledge with the importance in choosing the correct base to perfect my sleep. My preference was of course on the higher end and therefore chose to give thought before this major purchase. Trew did not pressure me and provided his number in the event I had questions. Once I made my decision after texting and calling him with numerous questions which he was so patient and helpful, we completed my purchase over phone and online to avoid a second trip for me especially given the fact he wad working from Springboro location. I never realized there are so many factors in choosing a new mattress and would highly recommend checking out Mattress Firm for your next purchase. Beware of this company’s promotions! We bought 2 deluxe mattresses and 1 had a deal of getting an adjustable frame for free. The other, heavily discounted. Sounds great. BUT - the frame they give & sell you CAN’T lift those mattresses. 🤯 So you call the store and they want you to pay above $2K for the adjustable frame that will work. Absolutely not! It was their advertisement & employee who made the sale’s fault — not the consumers that it won’t lift the deluxe mattress. After going back & forth they did replace the frames to the correct ones for free. Our salesman should have known it wouldn’t work, another employee said we could get a discount on the correct frames ($1600. each) and finally a third employee made phone calls and got the right thing done - had them redelivered for free.
