I was walking through town and the Gelato sign caught my eye. Looking at their menu board I saw several interesting sandwich selections. Since it was lunchtime I decided to take a chance on this new-to-me cafe. First impression was a clean well maintained space with great wall decor showing their commitment to quality food. I decided on the Italian. I passed on the soup of the day, which was roasted red pepper soup. I'm sorry that I passed but I wanted.to save room for gelato and they dont yet have a half sandwich option. The sandwich did not disappoint. It was meaty and fresh, with just the right amount of sandwich oil. The bread was perfectly toasted and pressed. Just the right amount of crunch without being hard. The sandwich is served with pickle and pasta salad. The pasta salad was wonderful! I finished my lunch with a small sicilian pistachio gelato which was wonderfully creamy and smooth with a well balanced pistachio flavor. Total cost of my lunch was $15 and worth every cent. This is now one of my favorite area lunch spots. I look forward to bringing my wife and our friends back here.

Notice! The rare bird of Google reviews, I like to find these gems to see if it’s a true 5 star experience or it just has been lucky. I have been to places that offer the world in Italian ice, and here, well I’m blown that within 20 flavors they offer quality made product to which I ask you to go out of your normal and try something new. I suggest the Mango! I understand a small business needs to be loud and catch the eye, but the only detractor was the front entrance wall of offers and jumbled mess of flyers and food offerings that are out of eyesight and honestly just block the view into the clean and simple interior that leads you to the jewel of gelatos offered. A rare suggestion, if the owner wishes to pop sales; I’ve noticed in other facilities similar to this one. A “fast buy” freezer. The most popular gelatos in pints or quarts with QR codes right on the product, scan and pay. I’d would have bought more had I seen it after the morsel I ate! I will come back, but beware I might eat a panini next time.

I love this authentic Italian gelato shop! They have so many DELICIOUS flavor varieties and ways to enjoy it: "shakes, cones, cups, affogato and root beer floats, cookie sandwiches and not your normal nachos too!" I love the lemon pie flavor ... yum! (Check them out on Facebook.) The owners, who also run the shop, are so wonderful and will brighten your day, as will the happy atmosphere in the shop. The location is in a very nice area. I highly recommend this lovely shop for a sweet treat to yourself!

My partner and I stopped in here today on a whim to grab a sandwich. We both got the turkey bacon club and it was probably one of the best club sandwiches I have had in a long time... the bread was panini style, toasted well but not hard; the turkey was a true deli style turkey and the bacon was crisp but also not hard. The onions were fresh but didnt have the harsh onion taste you sometimes get with fresh onion that has sat out, and the lettuce and tomato were fresh and not soggy. Overall a FANTASTIC deli classic.

While we were there, we both tried some Gelato (bourbon apple crisp, maple butter pecan, and lemon pie) all of which had the perfect silky texture you hope for in gelato and were absolutely packed with flavor.

We also ended up grabbing some canoli on a whim while on our way out the door after being told they were fresh made this morning. The canoli cream was not too sweet, had the perfect texture, and was not too wet. The pastry itself was flaky and crisp with a satisfying crunchy snap. They were not oily or crumbly... so SO good!!

Definitely cannot wait to go back here and try some other things from this place. Cannot recommend this place...
