I find it funny that the marquee sign at the front currently says “Hiring Friendly People” which is EXACTLY what this Wendy’s desperately needs. I don’t know if this was the “B” team on duty today being a Saturday night or what. My husband, son and I just visited on Saturday 10/13 at 7pm. Whomever was the manager on duty should be ashamed. I feel like everyone on the crew this evening was a zombie. Literally zero personality. I don’t have high expectations, it’s Wendy’s not Fleming’s, but my god what is it with millennials not being able to acknowledge you as you are going to order??? Like literally this girl working the register couldn’t seem more bothered or put out, but definitely couldn’t be bothered to say “can I take your order? Or merely, hello, hi, huh”.....anything? She just looked at me. They got our order wrong twice. Jr Hamburger they put cheese on, my husband is allergic to cheese. I kindly went up and asked for it to be corrected and she just blankly stared at me. What appeared to be the manager next to her also blankly stared at me. They remade the sandwich and she practically threw it at me with not a word uttered. Sorry about that? Anything??? Then the JR HAMBURGER had mayo all over it. Never has it ever had mayo. Arrrrg. All the ketchup was completely empty in the dispensers and literally everything with the exception of lemonade and mello yellow were COMPLETELY OUT in the pop machine. When I mentioned it to the zombie at the counter she said “oh that means they are out...”. Um yeah, I figured. No effort to do anything about it was made. I watched a poor older gentleman stand at the counter for way longer than he should’ve without being acknowledged. He finally approached them more and informed them he never got his coffee. After standing there another I would guess ten minutes, he just went back and sat down, never got his coffee. I was so angry. We left and I threw away our food, without eating almost all of it. The chicken sandwich I ordered had the most disgusting piece of chicken on it. We went across the street to Arby’s and the customer service was refreshingly pleasant and our food was correct. Why the zombie approach people? Is this what customer service has turned into? Sorry I’m bothering you during your work hours. These people all deserved to be fired. I know it doesn’t matter but I won’t be coming back and if they keep up this approach I would guess they will continue to lose customers. I wish them luck in finding friendly...
Read moreI'm disabled (issues with walking) and use the Wendy's app to order with pickup through the drive thru. Have done it at multiple locations, even this one.
This time I waited 10mins, got to the sqwak box and said I have a mobile order. A very rude woman said, "You can't pick that up in drive thru. You have to go inside." Tried to explain it was through their app not doordash, but she wasn't listening. So I drove around parked and with much effort got inside. Once inside, there were two people in front of me. Both had ordered and one young man was trying to fill the orders. There was one cook I saw, the rude lady at the drive thru, a girl not sure what she was doing and another girl on a break. No one else inside.
After standing there over 20 mins patiently waiting, now in immense pain, the rude lady asked if I had been waited on. I told her that I was the mobile order she wouldn't help. She turned around and ignored me. About 10mins later the young man got to me. It took another 10mins to get my order. During this entire time the drive thru took and filled at least 6 orders, but couldn't do mine when their app gives you 3 choices for pickup and drive thru is one.
Will not go back to this one. I will drive 5 miles up the road to the other one...
