Julio's Mexican Street Food — Restaurant in Middle Township

I’m often disappointed by Cape May County’s ethnic restaurants but nevertheless I always look forward to a new opening of local ethnic eateries. When I walked into Julio’s I was greeting by a young lady at counter who immediately welcomed me. I was having trouble on the kiosk so she redirected me to the counter where she put in my order for me. I got the Carne Asada Quesadilla and the service was exceptionally quick. Within 5 minutes of ordering I received my quesadilla. Although it was very simplistic with only cheese, steak, and chipotle sauce it was very appetizing. Many local restaurants add excessive ingredients which makes the food worse instead of making it better. The steak was not chewy and cooked through and the chipotle sauce was the perfect balance spice and taste. The sauce had a nice tangy heat but didn’t overpower the flavor. My first carryout order was a delight! It is very simple to order online. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. We ordered the Mexican Street Corn, Sante Fe Fries, Enchiladas, and the Carne Asada Torta.

You definitely get your bang for your buck.The portions are generous! The torta was the size of my head! The Sante Fe fries (waffle fries) maintained their texture, but also were piled high with toppings. We were a underwhelmed by the jalapeño on top the fries that was cut into four pieces, it wasn't cored and had the seeds. My one issue with the meal was they oversold the Mexican street corn dip. Described as "off the cob roasted corn"...they meant to describe it as canned corn with elote flavors. At least the flavors were delicious!

Julio's in Cape May Court House is an absolute must-try! From the moment you step in, you're greeted by a clean, open dining area that feels both welcoming and comfortable. The service is excellent, but the real star here is the food. Great food, freshly prepared, and with lots of options to choose from – there's something for everyone on the menu.
