What a beautiful dining experience. During the weekday the little indoor restaurant is quiet and serene creating an intimate dining experience. The highlights were the complimentary soup and appetizers. The soup of the night was tomato basil. The appetizers we ordered were the chicken liver mousse and baked goat cheese. Both were memorable bites. The main courses were okay. We ordered the hanger steak, which was aggressively seasoned. It overwhelmed my palate. The accompanying potatoes and asparagus were delicious. We also ordered the special barbecue salmon with cornbread and greens. The cook and seasoning on the salmon were perfection. We enjoyed it up until the moment a pin bone almost stuck into my gums. The cornbread and greens were fantastic - I could have eaten them as the meal! We finished up with a carrot packed carrot cake topped with fresh whipped cream. The carrot cake itself was delicious, but suffered from the bland whipped cream. It was missing the delights of cream cheese frosting or some iteration. The whole meal was plated beautifully. The waitress was attentive and kind. We enjoyed the meal and look forward to going back and ordering more appetizers.

This used to be my favorite place, but they just redid the menu- prices have doubled and quality has gone down markedly. Our previous favorite appetizer- The goat cheese and honey crostini, was now rendered inedible because the wonderful crostini was replaced by stale bread so hard it hurt to chew. The Mushroom Lasagna was $38 and was dried out and flat. It’s a shame because this place was our favorite go-to restaurant until now. I hope they find a way back to their former glory.

My partner and I ate here for the first time last night and our experience was excellent! We had were impressed by every course we had. I had the hanger steak which was delicious but dessert was my favorite course. We had the olive oil cake with homemade whipped cream and mixed berry compote. It was delicious, even better than we expected! We’ll definitely be returning for future dinners. I highly recommend coming here for a date night!

I'm almost reluctant to write this review, as it will only lead to me not being able to score a table at our favorite restaurant. On our most recent visit, this past Saturday, we enjoyed a shared menu of the meatloaf, the pork tenderloin with a curry flavored pear sauce, both the goat cheese, and Burrata appetizers, the roasted duck, the welcoming appetizer of "baked potato all the way" soup, the crab stuffed portabella mushroom, and the salmon in filo. We also shared two deserts between 5 of us. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. This place is the real deal. The host and co-owner; Ben, is the perfect head of house, greeting diners, and answering questions, The servers are all well informed pros, and the chef nails it. Another terrific culinary creation of the brothers; Yanni, and Peter, of George's Restaurant, and Shamones "pop up" restaurant in Cape May fame. And finally if you have ever been disappointed in a pork tenderloin, you will be reborn when you try their perfectly cooked and seasoned version. I strongly recommend going there now, before it gets to be impossible to get a table. They are BYOB, and located on Mechanic street, just a short block west of Main street in Downtown Cape...

I hadn’t been to this establishment in the heart of Cape May Court House prior to last night, but I will definitely be going back! From start to finish, my date and I loved everything about the place. It’s not often you enter a fine dining restaurant and feel a comfortable, casual vibe like the one Scola offers.

We both ordered the Stuffed Flounder dinner special, plated over a sun-dried tomato-based sauce; served with asparagus & potatoes. While we waited for our food & enjoyed a glass of wine, we were given complementary cups of their Soup du Jour, Roasted Red Pepper, which was absolutely fantastic. Then our entrées arrived and each bite was more delicious than the last! The Créme Brûlée we are for dessert is just another reason to brag about the place.

Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Nate, Dave, Katy, & Megan are just a few of the people we had the pleasure of interacting with. The owner, Ben, even came out to check on us during our meal to make sure everything was going well with our dining experience.

Again, this is one place we will be visiting again and I’d recommend it to anybody looking for great food & friendly service in a...
