Table One is a new restaurant that I've been aiming to try, and I finally managed to grab some quick takeout! The food is pretty good, the meat on the cheesesteak was cooked well and the fries were crispy. My only complaint is why would you serve a cheesesteak on a sesame roll? I was flabbergasted when I opened up the wrapper to see sesame seeds on the roll. I have never seen a cheesesteak served on a sesame roll and I hope I don't ever again. It was bizarre. The prices were a little high for how much food you get. It appears there are smaller portions but higher prices. It was $11.99 for the cheesesteak and you could upgrade and get fries for an extra $2.00. It doesn't seem like that bad of a price until you compare it to other restaurants in the area that serve the exact same item. The interior of the place is very hipster. It's trying to emulate the style of LA cafes, with lots of white and light wood furniture. It's a bit of a whiplash if you knew what the place looked like when it was a different restaurant, but this new look is cute in its own way. The people who were working the counter were nice, and they got my food quickly.

Read moreI’ve tried Table One twice and attempted another time but they were closed. Both times I dined, the experiences were not good. I waited until the second time to write a review because I try to give everyone a second chance. They don’t keep consistent hours. They say they’re open until till six but I have tried to go in and they are closed before they say they close. I got a salad my first time. The lettuce was brown and wilted, and the turkey that I didn’t even ask for on the salad was slimy and definitely looked like it came from a bag. I also got the pimento sandwich that looks like it came on King Wonderbread with some kind of very thin shredded lettuce. The sandwich fell apart in my hands as the bread appeared stale. The quality is serious lacking. Also the kitchen is open and you can see the line cook sucking on a vape while cooking the food. GROSS! Each time I’ve been in there they have had no patrons. I go to the library a lot and never see anybody in there and I guess there’s a reason for that. I know that they are still on the newer side. Hopefully they can work...
Read moreThis was our first time dining here, and our last. After waiting to be seated, we were given just one menu to share because they had run out. Not ideal, but whatever. We placed our order, and while the food itself was good, the service left a lot to be desired.
Halfway through my wrap, an older woman server came by and dropped off the check, asking if we wanted to-go boxes, even though we were both clearly still eating. She didn’t ask if we needed anything else and failed to mention that we could pay via the QR code, so we sat there waiting with our card out for a while before realizing it. This should have been mentioned but since she was clearly in a rush to get us and only us out she didn’t bother.
Giving two stars because the food had potential, but the rushed, inattentive service really took away from...
