During our last visit to this plaza. We noticed that flaming blue margaritas was open and quite bustling from what we could see. For our restaurant outing this week, we decided to go check the place out.
When we arrived, the restaurant was definitely busy with most tables being full and some large parties at the front of the restaurant at the stand alone tables. We were seated in one of those booths at the very rear of the restaurant.
Decor wise. The art work on the walls is amazing and we spent a few moments when we first saw down just checking out the various mural's on the wall.
Menu wise, one side is dedicated to alcoholic beverages and the other has the food options. It's not the most indepth Mexican menu I have seen but the choices were very solid with lots of flexibility to meet what you might be in the mood for.
I ended up choosing the chorio pollo. Food came out super quick and was piping hot. The rice was very flavorful and stood out compared to some of our other local Mexican restaurant choices. Chorizo, cheese, and chicken is a hard combo to beat so I was quite pleased with my meal.
As I mentioned the restaurant was quite busy so the only negative I had was that I had run out of water and it took well into after our meal was delivered to the table for our waiter to stop by and check on us and the table. I saw the staff running tables continuously so we just chalked it up to how busy they were.
For us, this may have just become our preferred local Mexican restaurant easily, we can't wait to go again and try some other options...
Read moreI had been wanting to go here since they opened and I finally got the chance. I saw that there were customers only at the bar and in the booths. I asked if we had to sit at the booth and without any consideration and in a slightly rude tone was told yeah. We had two smaller children with us and since you can’t push the booth up to the tables in can be challenging with smaller children to sit in a booth. Accommodating the paying customer for a reasonable request is a key to customer service. The selection of food was decent but unfortunately the flavors just weren’t there. It was bland to me and my husband. The house salsa is typically one of the best parts of the mexican cuisine dining experience and it was just so flavorless. The portions of the food were good. I got a margarita flight, the presentation was nice but it tasted like juice and barely like tequila. The best part of the experience was the server, Maria. She was great. The food did come out quickly but it wasn’t busy so I’m sure that’s a factor. I’m not sure that we’ll be back strictly on the fact that there are mexican restaurants in the neighboring cities with way better...
Read moreToday I took my tastebuds to the Flaming Blue Margaritas located in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Newly opened and let’s just say highly anticipated restaurant is finally here ready to serve up a menu filled with a wide variety of drinks & food I promise they will have you astonished with the way they give you an experience like no other. The atmosphere is very vibrant & upbeat. I ordered the Flaming Blue Margarita. First time here so I went with the recommended drink. My server Juan definitely made a Fire Margarita. Perfectly blended to my liking & did the job! I threw down on some signature tacos from the fish selection. Their menu also consists of steak, chicken, pork, & veggies. I ordered the Salmon Tacos with a side of Mexican Rice. The Salmon Tacos come with red cabbage, pica, & chipotle. The Mexican Rice was delicious plus plentiful. The Salmon Tacos were absolutely phenomenal! I’m happy to say that I really enjoyed my experience. The music is also calming and very upbeat! A vibe you can’t get anywhere else! Again thank you all for following my food reviewing journey. Peace Love & Blessings....
