Love it here. I believe the word for what happens at the check-out counter is "NASCART". I feel like I have to unload SO FAST, and the cashiers move like hummingbirds. It's not their fault, it's policy. Everyone is incredibly friendly!
The quality and prices CAN. NOT. BE. BEAT. After doing all my grocery shopping here for a few months, I had to stop at a giant eagle out of town for a few items, and my Jae dropped at the price. What I could have bought at Aldi for about $8.50 cost me over 24 DOLLARS at Giant Eagle!! đŹ Just for a couple sundries! The selection is a little wanting, if you're used to the bigger places, but you will find all your basics and more, plus artisan foods for unparalleled prices.
The here-today-gone-tomorrow "ALDI Finds" are great. Always something nifty there, and if you like it, get it. It will be gone next week. The store is clean and never insanely crowded. I never go anywhere else if I can at all help it. I spend literally almost 2/3 less here on everything I need! I can almost hear my wallet...
Read moreI just returned from this store. Let me just say I had never been to an Aldi's before this. We only needed a few items, so we did not grab a cart. The young gentlemen who checked us out, in the cashier closest to the exit, didn't even say hi, did you find everything alright, or anything just quickly scanned us through, which is fine. But then since he put all of our items in a cart we figured we would just take the cart to the car. Not even three feet away he snapped..."that's my cart". Confused by this I had asked "What?" And he snapped back again, "Did you bring a cart? No, that's my cart then." (Let it be known there was an empty cart right next to him not being used that he could have stood up from his chair for 2 seconds to grab but instead snapped at us) We grabbed our items and left, we are from out of town and do visit here often but would never go to this particular Aldi again. The only reason we are giving 3 stars is because the prices were very reasonable and the...
Read moreGreat cashier at check out, had a big order and she was wonderful. However during my shopping a bottle dropped out of a customers hand and broken glass went flying. I knew 3workers were just at the opposite end of the aisle so I turned to get their attention as none of them looked or moved towards us so I called out, excuse me. And OMG the one (who I believe was the manager) about took my head off! Telling me to wait, she'd be with me in a minute. She finished giving instructions to the other workers then turn back to me, what do you need? I'm like stunned but brought her attention to the break and again she snippetly says, I know, I heard it! I still stood there in shock as I felt like a little kid getting yelled at for something I didn't do and just wanting to help. Then I checked out paying for my big order and the poor lady behind me order of 3 items. As I left I saw the worker again and just said a prayer for her. Maybe she was...
