Stumbled upon this place while craving Chinese food with some friends. Easily one of the best places I’ve been to in the area. Sophie was delightful and so kind to us, we couldn’t have asked for better service. I was the one who suggested some appetizers, and boy those did not disappoint. I would go back just for those alone. We got the fried dumplings and the crab rangoons. They were heavenly!
Our main dishes were fantastic. Great proportions and you can tell everything is freshly made to order — my food was pretty hot on my plate and I very much appreciated that! We had a mix of both the fried rice and noodles at the table and it’s tough to say which was my favorite. You can’t go wrong with either, both were delicious.
To top it off they gave us a complementary dessert of these Chinese donuts that absolutely won me over (as if I wasn’t already won over with the impeccable apps and entrees). Oh my, I almost wanted to order some to go, but now I know for next time those are an absolute must. Excellent flavor, not too sweet without the sugar on top, and cooked to perfection. It’s been a few hours since we left and I’m still thinking about the dessert…
Overall some of the best authentic Chinese food you will find. You definitely need to check this place out. I promise you won’t regret it. I will be going back for sure. Thank you Sophie for your wonderful...
Read moreNow this place was surprising, Sophie who i gather is one of the family that owns it as her daughter was sitting keeping busy in the dinning room. Sophie was super nice considering english is not the first thing she learned to speak with. Now the food,
Omg First its actually presented really well..not thrown on a plate. Also its a decent portion not massive..
The food was light and flavorful
Now why 4 instead of 5
A few minor things I asked for white rice but got fried.. Now mind you the reason i get white instead of fried is because most fried rice lacks flavor...many many years ago some places i went had fried rice that had good amounts of egg and pork and gave it a good flavor...i hadnt ever found that again
Until i got it here...it was amazing
Get fried rice there you love it.
While an amazing person sophie was overworked... Running take out.. Serving Clearing tables..
Service took a little longer because she could only move so fast
I know its tough coming out of the pandemic but hire like a part time college student to seat and do take out.
That way you and your family can focus on the food
Lastly
No pop tower...cans...and they were out of 7up
You had buffett...get a pop tower.
In all this was very good surprise i...
Read moreI am honestly really surprised that this location has such high ratings. The portion sizes are very small considering the prices we paid for them. The service was very professional and quick. We ordered: Orange chicken: very tasty, tender chicken and flavorful sauce, but smallish portion General Tsos chicken: was clearly reheated, old, very tough chicken Mongolian beef: tender beef, lots of veggies, very good flavor Beef and broccoli: very bland, very small portion of beef compared to the broccoli Shrimp fried rice: so so bland, zero flavor, it was nice to see large shrimp being used Chicken lo mein: decent flavor, but very few pieces of chicken, mostly veggies Crab Rangoon: decent, fresh Shrimp egg rolls: good flavor but only 1 piece for $3 Vegetable spring rolls: greasy but tasty, 2 pieces per portion Egg drop soup: this was awful. Hardly any egg at all, and tasted of rancid oil. It got poured down the sink. The crispy wontons were stale as well. Even the fortune cookies were old and stale.
Based on the quality and amount of food I think the prices are way too high. Sad to say, I had very high hopes for this restaurant but would never order...
