Was talking to a friend about a great pizza place around the area, I've been for years and the pizza has always been good to grab after a movie or if just hungry and looking for a quick bite.
So we decide to look through the menu online so we could order over the phone (didn't want to put credit card information through the website. Would pay at the counter since it seemed easier). The website stated the amount with tax included and was very functional for customizing the pizza to your exact preference.
We place the order with a man over the phone, and are given a time to pick it up, once we get there the person at the counter didn't seem to be in a good mood, not a problem everyone has their days. We give her our name and she brings the pizza over and gives us the total.
It was about 15 dollars more than what the website stated and I brought that up to her saying the price didn't seem right "This is the exact price, nice try though." Just very snooty and she was thinking that we were trying to con her. I didn't want to cause a scene by walking out without a pizza so we begrudgingly paid for it. Probably one of the most awkward, negative experiences I've been in.
I mean the pizza was as good as ever but that negative experience ruined me ever wanting to go back there again, you have a person at the counter treating certain people poorly, we explained it and she wasn't having any of that.
Fix the way the counter employee talks with customers, and the website pricing if it's wrong, but then again who prices a large speciality pizza with 2 added toppings for close to $40, when the website said it was under $25? Capri's does apparently. Though what idiots pays for a pizza that price? We...
Read moreGrandson and I visited this past Saturday for the first time. We had been in Cleveland to attend an event at the I-X Center and I wanted to find someplace with really good pizza to finish off our day in Cleveland. I came upon great reviews of Capri Pizza and boy were they spot on! We ordered a small with lots of meat for the "boy" and it was spectacular, although a little pricey. $2.50 for each topping besides cheese and we had 4 :) extra on top of the base price. We watched as they hand tossed dough ~ was really cool to see and tasted wonderful. The man that waited on us was ultra friendly to us. He even brought us a couple of brownies for dessert. I could only eat 1 1/2 slices of pie and had to take my brownie home I was so full. Anyway a small pizza fed us for 2 days and that makes it a great value too. Great friendly service and wonderful pizza. If you are in the area don't miss this gem!! We will stop the next time we...
Read moreWe were visiting Cleveland and I searched for 'food near me' and this place popped up. It looked amazing so we decided to try it. I am SO glad that we did! I would come back to Cleveland just to eat here again. The food was amazing, we had an entire pizza & order of breadsticks handed to us within 10 minutes and the customer service is beyond anything I've ever experienced! (I believe it was the owner) that came over to our table and asked how our food was, made small talk, offered to refill the parmesan cheese, and then handed our daughter one of their delicious cookies. On our way out he thanked us again and asked if we were from around here and then handed our daughter a brownie as well. It's rare now to see an owner take such amazing care of their customers themselves and he went so above and beyond! If you're debating on trying this place, the answer is YOU...
