First, never go here for specialty coffee. I guess it’s not a true “coffee shop” like Ferroni’s or C’s, but they should just stop selling coffee altogether and stick to donuts. You’ll ask for a latte and some employees will say, “I don’t know if we have that”, yet the board clearly states it. So, I’ve had multiple iced lattes there and I’m pretty sure there is NO COFFEE in them. Just milk and flavoring. We’ve had them for work meetings and I end up just pitching them in the trash. Their regular coffee is fairly weak and everyone in the office agrees to avoid going here for any coffee beverages.
Donuts are average. About like Dunkin’ quality. They’re decent but don’t stand out in the donut world. For better quality donuts, I’d try Nauvoo Family Market or Mary Yoder’s.
Again, it’s not a true “café”, so if you’re looking for true baristas, don’t go here.
Just not a fan. I’ve given them multiple chances but it’s never an...
Read moreMaggie's doesnt just offer donuts but other simple fare, as well. Soups are pretty good. Coffee ok. The coconut covered donuts are yummy - when they make them - call ahead if you are interested in that particular kind. Most of the donuts are pretty good - there is a bacon one for the bacon lovers, blueberry, apple fritters, cinnamon, cake, glazed and more. However, to me (and, a few others), Maggie's donuts dont taste as good ?? There is a good variety but donuts are well picked over early on somedays. Just love chocolate covered and maple covered cream filled sticks ! But, what happened to Maggie's ? Where's the cream ? Not so much cream inside as they once had. My husband likes cake donuts but says they don't taste as good either. A friend and I would stop weekly, grab a donut and then head to McDonald's for a coffee to complement it while on our salvaging adventures. Today was the first time we stopped there...
Read moreI bicycle out to Middlefield from Cleveland occasionally and like to stop at Maggie's for a coffee and donut. Nice, simple place with excellent donuts. One suggestion: Do allow patrons who sit down to eat, to use the restroom. If you're going to sell coffee, folks are going to need a bathroom. One lady at the counter told me to use the restroom in back. One younger woman said no, but relented when I told her I had used it before. It makes no sense to have a sit down place, serve coffee and not allow use of the restroom. Think about how you (the owner) would feel in a similar situation. Thanks for listening.
