The store manager is uncaring about his business. When employees bring up slight problems in the work place he puts the fault on the person who is bringing up the issue. I asked for simple direction with the build of certain salads and didn't receive any type of information about it. When i told the store manager he made it out to be my fault. There is no communication within the crew whatsoever, and to boot most Wendy's store procedures are NOT followed as they should be. Only top managers know proper cleaning and food prep policies and do not inform the crew until they see them doing something wrong, mostly not at all. I worked here to the best of my ability and because i talked to the store manager about what i should do when i don't receive proper guidance from shift managers he fired me. There was no particular reason for this it just happened because he did not feel up to fixing the issue at hand. One day i was refused fresh food off the grill because the cook at the time insisted the patties that came up and were on the heating rack were fresh. I still asked for it and didn't receive it. They even had me prepare lettuce that was covered in bugs and outdated. The workers insisted that it would be okay if i just let it all soak in the sink and that it would magically fix all the issues. Still unsure if all Bugs and wings/legs were removed from it all to this day... This place needs better management for the store as a whole. Only a couple ppl try to keep up with policies as far as managers go but they get overrun by the ones who don't seem to care. I hope this problem can be resolved for the sake of future employees...
Read moreWent to Wendy's in Carlisle on Hanover Street last night to pick up three Biggie Bags for the kids. I always order the $6 DoubleStack Biggie Bags with the DoubleStack plain. The bald headed guy taking the orders needs to study their menu, as he does not know the prices of the menu. The DoubleStack Biggie Bag is $6 per meal, and he argued with me that the $6 Bigge Bag DoubleStack was the bacon meal. I was nice and stated on the menu out here at the drive through it states the regular DoubleStack is $6. He again argued that the regular DoubleStack was $5, and the Bacon DoubleStack was $6. I just told him that I just needed a DoubleStack Biggie Bag. When I got to the window to pay my total was $19.08, and not that I minded paying what I had to, but if you are a manager (which I believe he is as he has argued with my mom before my son has told me) you really should know the prices on your menu. If the DoubleStack Biggie Bags were only $5 a piece then I would have only paid $15.30, but at $6 a piece then I pay the $19.08. This guy needs to make sure he knows the price because the next person might not be as nice as I...
Read moreFrench toast smelled and tasted like fish... I thought it was just me but I gave my husband one and he said the same thing went inside handed it to a cashier she smelled it screwed her face up. She told the manager and he got instantly mad took them hurled them at the garbage. Then proceeded to pull new ones out of the draw with his dirty hands and threw them in the fryer. Needless to say I walked out without the breakfast. Called Customer service to complain and get a refund and they are temporarily closed. Customer service is definitely lacking in this Wendy's. I had two children work at Wendy's and I know you are not supposed to treat customers that way. I'm sorry sir but you French toast taste like fish and smelled like it too. I hope Wendy's is not adding fish by-products to their food. This is the second time I ordered French toast sticks and the second time I say they are gross.. It's Burger King's French...
