Vincenzo’s ristorante — Restaurant in Middlesex

I came here for dinner with a friend who treated me. We were immediately greeted by a friendly waiter and host. All the tables have white linens on them. They have a small bar near the entrance. Once seated my server Fernando came right over. He was very pleasant, had a great sense of humor, and made really good suggestions. The service we received was excellent. We started with a a bottle of SAUVIGNON BLANC. On the table was complimentary bruschetta. We then ordered two appetizers- the first was CLAMS OREGANATA - one dozen baked and served in a garlic sauce. They were sweet and delicious. The next appetizer ordered was a Special on their menu, STUFFED ARTICHOKE - it was one of the best stuffed artichokes I’ve ever had. I loved that they added sautéed pancetta in it. Next was a complimentary HOUSE SALAD. I added a lot of freshly grated cheese. It too was simple and good. For my entree I ordered another Special on the menu. VEAL CHOP- it was cooked perfectly and came topped with sautéed onions and mushrooms and added cherry peppers. For my sides were roasted potatoes, broccoli, carrots and zucchini. It was really delicious. My friend ordered their GROUPER OREGANATA- the grouper was delicate and the garlic bread crumbs on top added so much flavor. She also got broccoli, carrots, and zucchini for sides. Just when I couldn’t eat another bite, out came a dessert tray. There was amazing assortment of all different kinds of desserts. I chose two different ones to share. The first was PISTACHIO CAKE- it was light and flavorful served with sliced strawberries and whipped cream. The second dessert was CHOCOLATE BANANA CAKE- chocolate layer on the top with a sweet banana filling. It was devine. We finished off our dinner with CAPPUCCINO. There is a parking lot in the back. Sunday lunch for 3 after the Car show. Lunch offerings were plenty, not to mention Amazing, the Service was Over the Top, the Atmosphere was Peaceful and Quiet. I'm told this Sunday Lunch was quite unique, in that it was unusual for the restaurant not to have been more busier than it was. Reasons why... Could have been the long weekend, and folks were out of town, (this did not make or take away from our experience). Our cousin lived close by and suggested we eat here, (awesome choice I feel). The menu is full of delicious Italian dishes. We each tried a different one. Our server Alfonso was Great, he offered the Specials, answered our questions went for our beverages and returned to take our order. Then brought out bruschetta, and bread w/butter pats. Catching up with the goings on with Cousin in a quiet place was delightful, while enjoying our bruschetta and bread, and then our lunch choices arrived. First off, they looked Wonderful, ( I believe presentation is the most important part of a meal). When the server returned, he was in no way intrusive of the conversation, and added to the over all experience of our lunch together. When you are looking for a quiet place to dine be certain to visit Vincenzo's Ristorante in Middlesex, you'll have a great experience, this is my opinion. We recently had a family BDAY celebration using their upstairs private room perfect for 40 or less. We arrived early to a cleaned room and U shaped set up that we requested and were able to decorate to mark the occasion. They have two alcove windows that allowed us to put up and easel and poster board with a history of family pictures for all to see. Plenty of good food and drinks where served with no complaints because the main thing our staffing and main waiter/host Ocasio was experience, new what to do and worked tirelessly making sure our guests where happy at all times which they where! So if you want to go first and just have dinner do that and meet with the Owners Mario and Roy to show you there place as they are also building out a ground floor addition because clearly they are doing well for a reason.
