Freddy's Place — Restaurant in Middleton

I was looking for decent breakfast places in this area because I had plans nearby right after, and we decided on trying Freddy's out - it did not disappoint! Freddy's is your basic hole-in-the-wall local breakfast/lunch spot. However, the food was amazing! Breakfast should be easy, but I've been to many places where plates are bland and just don't hit the weekend breakfast goals. Freddy's on the other hand hit the spot! They have giant homemade muffins, pancakes where the outside has a perfect grilled crunch and fluffy interior, and corned beef hash that beat most of the hash I've grown up with (plus, most places don't have pumpernickel toast but Freddy's does)! Nothing super special as far as atmosphere, but they do have outdoor seating in the parking lot from the pandemic regulations, and the servers were so friendly and attentive. I have been eating at Freddy's for about 10 years off and on...recently the last couple of years much more regularly. The staff are always friendly, engaging, and desiring to ensure you enjoy your meal. They know how to keep your beverages full without being either a pest or non-available. One of the best things I like is that special request are standard for them and never an inconvenience or bother. They engage you about what going on in the world or your world with sincerity and patience. Yet, no matter how busy it is the food is always quick and hot as well as quality. I don't normally eat breakfast but when I do Freddy's the place I want to eat it. My Family and I went here after our overnight stay at the Double Tree Hilton visiting the Cocokeys water park. When we arrived which was a Sunday morning around 8:30 am the place was packed! I said to my husband we can go somewhere else but a nice older gentleman said its not that long of a wait and its worth it we took his word. The staff was friendly the place was clean and MOST importantly the food was excellent!!! The waitress was attentive and the "Older Gentleman" was right it was worth the 10 minute wait!
