Update: I lived nearby for the past thirteen years and went there every week for a banana split, or a large sundae. Last summer I had to move away and hadn't had a chance to go back until yesterday. While I understand they haven't raised their prices in a long while, I was very disappointed at the size of the scoops. I paid $7.50 for a large sundae, and only got two small scoops instead of the three that comes with it. There was hardly any topping, no nuts, and the whole thing was covered with tons of whipped cream, so I couldn't see what little ice cream there was. Compared to the picture I posted a couple of years ago, the scoops were hardly half the size. I always tip the person who makes my sundae, and this time I wish I hadn't, because I'm not sure if the kid was just being lazy or petty, or these really are their new scoop sizes. Either way, even though their quality is still one of the best, I was very disappointed, and if I ever go back I'll stick to packaged products. That's the reason I took one star off.
I go there every week to get milk, I would never buy it anywhere else. While there, I always get a banana split. Their ice cream is the best in New England! Try the Campfire S'mores flavor, it's the best. Now, if you don't want to ruin your ice cream with fruit, just order a large sundae, you won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the finest example of local dairy farms producing some of the world best ice cream. Richardsonās is one of the best local spots in all of New England for their ice cream. They have two locations their main farm spot in Middleton (this one) and they serve their ice cream at the Jordanās Furniture in Reading, MA. If you want the freshest, most delicious ice cream and dairy you would want to come here. They literally are right next to their farm and you always will see some presence of the cows mulling about. The ice cream flavors are plentiful and I routinely cycle through some of my favorites, cookie dough, roll house cookie, peppermint stick, crunchasaurus, toll house cookie, cake batter, and German chocolate cake. All of their flavors are delicious. They sell ice creams by the container too and they can always hand pack any flavor youād like as well. They sell milk here as well. This is one of the quintessential places of rural New England if you want to try authentic dairy and ice cream products directly from the farm animals you look out upon. This is such a fun place and Iāve grown up visiting here year round, and the summertime crowds speak volumes to their raging success. Always worth a stop for some delicious ice cream and a look at some of the...

They have a limited choices for food that isn't ice cream. But if You go You gotta get ice cream even a littleš¤ its cheaper than any store an most other ice cream places each size is only about .50 cents more. And i believe you can get big containers of flavors?
To clarify sizes for people that might not eat alot kiddie size is one scoop of ice cream and each size is a scoop more then the previous one, their scoops are big-ish.
Smells like manure sometimes, its a farm, but it doesn't bother me much, grew up in a farming state, but if it bothers you go in their building or your car it shouldn't be that bad though, if You want to go see the animals their in the back behind the parlor.
Bathrooms are outside to the right of the ice cream parlor and...
