Starbucks — Restaurant in Middleton

Wow. Came to sit for a minute and study. There are 6 people behind the counter! All I can say is that they are acting like a bunch of 10 year olds, except the gentleman. He actually said that 2 of them shouldn’t work together. It was clear that they were training someone who prolly will act like the rest of them after being trained. I’am hearing stories of stuff not being cleaned and eggs being stuck all over the machine and how “gross” it was. One of the “chatty Kathy’s” sounded like she was crying. I couldn’t figure out what was going on. It was loud and continuous. I finally figured out she was laughing! It was the most annoying thing ever! In the time I’ve been sitting here there were 2 other customers sitting whom looked like they were studying also. They both just got up and left. If I had to take a guess they were as annoyed as I was. Granted this is not a library, but the staff are very unprofessional to say the least (again not the gentleman). As nasty and as sticky as my table is right now, someone should be doing a better job of cleaning. Not sure who runs this place, but I think 6 people are not needed. I saw maybe 6 customers come in from the time I got there. I’ve been here about 30 minutes plus. I would of gotten more coffee, even maybe a sandwich, but couldn’t bear to sit there any longer. 5/1 - I frequent this Starbucks all of the time, I'm talking 3-5x a week and the service is usually amazing...it's my favorite location. The service today actually sucked. The drive thru was blocked with chairs so I had to go inside, no big deal, things happen. The girl working the register (brown curly hair, looks to be in high school) was chatting with another worker (male with clear glasses, looked high school age as well) and when I approached the counter to make an order her entire demeanor changed, like literally smiling when the guy and then saw me and frowned like I was interrupting her. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato, which is my standard and they called out other people’s names when it was their turn to pick up the drink and then just set mine on the counter and never called out my name at all. Then I said have a good day to the guy working and he literally just ignored me like I wasn’t even talking to him. The iced caramel macchiato is probably the worst I’ve ever had from any Starbucks, it tastes like 90% whole milk, and 10% coffee with no caramel.. I I try not to leave negative reviews but they could’ve done a much better job today.

Much like any business the staff working make or break the experience, this location is no different. Fortunately I generally come in when Latavia (permission to post the name was granted) and staff are working. I say fortunately as I have always been greated with smiles and kind service when the aforementioned members are working. Moreover I have always received perfectly heated food and as requested coffee when I've stopped in making this a top notch experience that enlightens my day.

Personally I've found that when I'm craving my caffeine fix I tend to find myself yearning specifically for this location despite the added time to arrive as other locations don't seem to be as consistent with my order despite my order being fairly consistent.

Last but not least this location is open later than others, this is perfect for myself and others who prefer a later point in the day to awaken.

So I hope that Latavia and staff notice this review and give themselves a pat on the back for exceptional service. I also hope anyone reading this is currently and continues to have a fantastic...
