Giovanni's Pizza — Restaurant in Middletown Township

i tried giving Giovannis a few different chances, just for the benefit of the doubt.. but after tonight, i am no longer going to be a customer.

Now, I'm not sure if its when, or what i order, but there's always an issue..and for the pricing, its not even worth this review.

Tonight i got an italian hoagie and onion rings. first off, there was no marinara sauce. end of the world? not really. but i sure did get a batch of the most overcooked onion rings. i thought i got 7 deep fried teething rings for toddlers. i took one bite, hurt my gums, then trashed them. the hoagie? i asked for mayo, oil, vinegar, oregano, LTO. it honestly felt like, a premade version from giant, slapped on a jar of mayo, and dunked in it a bucket of oil. no vinegar, no oregano. the bread was the worst of it, they clearly use shit rolls. a wawa hoagie would of been 1000 times better.

The other thing that gets me is, the picture for the hoagie shows lettuce tomato and onion.. but when you call to order it, you have to ask for tomato and onion..maybe change the picture then? just another observation.

The previous time, i had a place an order, they said they were busy, so about 30 35 minutes.. ok no problem. I went over there after about 45 minutes from placing the order, and i was made to wait ANOTHER 35 minutes to get my food. walk in, say the name for pickup, and automatically "itll be a few, were waiting on fries"..it takes 30 minutes for that? OK, whatever. finally i got someone who wanted to listen to the name I was picking up for, and they grabbed my food off the top of the oven...I WAS MADE TO WAIT 30 MORE MINUTES FOR FRIES THAT WERE ALREADY IN THE GOD DAMN BAG.

I'm sure people love this place, but no more from me. they offer pizza by the slice, thats about the only good..and even then, I'll drive to the...

Very poor service. When I placed my order they had my address wrong and it took repeating myself three times before they got it right. Then they told me it would be about an hour. After an hour and a half I called to find out where my order was they couldn't find it. Then someone (I assume the manager) got on the line and informed me that it was a Friday night and they were very busy doing the best they could and they couldn't keep track of everything. He said my order just left. By the time I received my order it had taken almost two hours. Only to find out that one of the sandwiches were wrong and we missing items. I was very disappointed. I understand it gets busy on a Friday night but saying an order will take an hour and then having to wait almost two is unacceptable. This is not the first time this has happened. I've had this happened. I've had similar experiences before. I won't be ordering from Giovanni's...

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger deluxe. Drove all the way home just to find out I got something different! Drove back to the restaurant explained what happened. I was told they don’t have deluxe burgers. Why wasn’t i told that information on the phone when I clearly went over TWICE what I SPECIFICALLY wanted on the phone to the girl who took the order. The guy who mainly makes the food caught an attitude and walked away. Not even offering an apology and telling me that he would make another the RIGHT way! Literally told me they were just going to refund me. You would think over a $9 burger that it would get made over! Nope! They literally gave me a refund and left me food less!! So I had to go somewhere else to get dinner! It’s really upsetting that I’ve been coming here for YEARS and can’t even get accommodated! Never again will I come here! Another place can get my money...
