Bagel Boys — Restaurant in Middletown

I Ordered A Toasted Garlic Bagel with Locs & Cream Cheese. I Ate Have Of It. When I Got To The Other Half Of The Sandwich There Was A 7" Long Blonde Hair From One Of The Store Clerk. I Was Completely Grossed Out By This First Time Experience. When I Showed The One Clerk The Long Piece Of Hair She Looked Dumbfounded ! The Crazy Part Was Both Clerks Had There Hair Sticking Out All Over The Place with Only A Loose Pony Tail In The Back. Their Hair Was Messy & Unkept. Because Of This Unpleasant Experience I Won't Be Going Back Although The Clerk Offered To Refund My Money & Give Me Free Food & Drink. I Told Them To Make Me Another Sandwich Which I Couldn't Stomach At The Thought Of Another Piece Of Hair Or Something Else Very Nasty In My Food So When I Drove Away I Tossed It Out. I Won't Be Giving Them Anymore Business & I Most Certainly Informed My Coworkers Of This Place. NOT Recommended & NOT Hygienically Safe Place To Eat By Any Means...

I'm a local and have been getting bagels from the boys since I was a kid. I won't even consider eating store bought bagels, I can tell the difference. They are made fresh daily, nothing is better than getting a bagel that is still warm from the oven. My favorite is the French onion bagel with the garlic and chive cream cheese I refer to this combination as the breath buster combination. They really slather the cream cheese on. Their sandwiches are also equally delicious and also need to mention their banana bread is out of this world especially if they heat it up for you on the grill and it has a chance to get a little crispy. We were visiting Newport & decided we wanted a breakfast sandwich . We were the only ones in the shop , but the line grew pretty quickly after we arrived. I have today there wasn't any sense of urgency to wait on customers . We ordered a bagel with fried egg & cheese & coffee . Both were delicious . Good coffee ...I needed a fresh cup after the bitter Keurig brewed in our hotel room . They have a few tables outside , so it was warm enough to eat there . Yes , I would go back again . We were not in a rush & were on vacation . But the wait may be about long if headed to work . Very fair prices . I think our entire meal was $10 . 2 bagel breakfast sandwiches & 2 coffees!
