Waited in drive thru today to ask if they have at home covid tests, and to purchase some over the counter Coricidin HBP for my spouse who isn't feeling well. I saw online that they have the medicine in stock. The person stated they don't have tests and then went to ask the pharmacist, came back and said. Nope, we don't have that, referring to the Coricidin. I said, "you do. I can see it is in stock on your website." He looked surprised. I asked if it was just that they are busy and didn't want to go look for it? He looked at me again. I said, "that's fine. I'll go somewhere else. But that is really bad."
I wanted to buy it through the drive thru because I was trying to be cautious in case we have covid. This is just another reminder of why I dislike Walgreens.
Another fun time at Walgreens today. I need 2 new knees, and have difficulty walking very far. But I went inside Walgreens to purchase medicine for my husband again. The shelf tag showed $2 off the brand I selected, but it did not ring up properly so I told the cashier it had a $2 off tag on the shelf. I waited while she page thru an ad several times, and asked someone on her headset about the coupon. I waited. And waited My knees were screaming in agony while this girl SAT at the register paging through that booklet. I...
Read moreBe warned that this Walgreens is purposely deceitful in their policies. They hide behind seasonal no returns to pass on damaged, used product. The return policy is taped behind their monitor away from the customer so we will not know. Also, most items in the store they consider seasonal. The slippers, multi packed bath products, if it has a jingle bell on it or not. If you get the wrong size or pick up used returned makeup without noticing you will eat the lost. They won't even exchange a 500 piece puzzle that was discovered to have 498 pieces. Your loss. Yes I suppose it is the customers responsibility to know the policy as they have it online. But if your not shopping online why would you know this. It is not the return policy printed on the receipt. That is deceitful and just bad ethical practices. Damaged/missing pieces they will tell you they don't care, get out, shop elsewhere ( word for word from Mindy their nasty unprofessional rude manager. Honestly there is no need to shop a store that is easily 35% more than all the other stores in the vicinity with honest policies and respectful employees....
