The old guy that was working on the fry section was really rude and kind of a jerk. To start off, he was barking at the other guy that was working on the grill about doing some training. That is not a conversation he should be having not only in front of customers but also in front of other employees. That is the private business between one employee and a boss. He was quite rude about it too. You will not get ANY respect if you treat people that way! Once he was done being a jerk to the poor guy on the grill, I had asked him, "Excuse me sir, I'm sorry to bother you but may I please have a side of mayonnaise", he said angrily and with an attitude, "you know, if you just asked for that when you put your order in, it would've come with your order"!!! Well sir, I did not decide to get a side of mayonnaise until I saw the fries because I like mayonnaise with/on my fries. Excuse me for making a last-minute decision! There was no need for the attitude either! What he should have said with a smile was, "sure thing mam, is there anything else you need". Everyone else I have ever dealt with there has been nice except for this guy. It's pretty sad when my cousin's 13 year old son who was with me notices how much of a jerk he was to everyone! Other than this guy, all of my meals and experiences at Five Guys...
Read moreThe team is well developed. Enjoy not only the product but also the experience of a privatized home shared burger as if the grill you own has become the grill that feeds millions, it's wholesome, unique and classic to the nineteen 40's-fifties feel without the juke box thank God, lol and a burger that will fill even the hungriest and danty of restaurant experiences. It's delicate enough to sit and saunter it's fast enough but with quality of something not usually made in a race based endeavor but connects to many core values and expresses as whole and also franchistic as any other eatery for the hungry consumer who wants exquisite taste as well as ideology of monetary deligation and yet the relaxing atmosphere of just a burger joint. But still holds a class of its own. Glad to see you there the money, the skill, the personality and historic Nature which drives this growing legacy...
Read moreFive Guys in Middletown. First of all, the best burgers around. Secondly, the staff. They're incredible. I have met Eddie, Joey, both managers. They are both very personable, professional and down right friendly. Also, they as well as all the staff work very hard at keeping the place going. The food is always great tasting and fresh. We go often enough to see and judge the quality and have never had a complaint regarding anything. If you've never been to Five Guys, give this one a try on Washington Street in Middletown. I highly recommend it.
I am adding to this review because some have moved on but this Five Guys location always seems to find quality people. Luke, one of the managers, Michael, Marley and Roshone only to name a few but there are others as well. They focus on quality. Great people! Five Guys is so lucky to have such...
