This may be a little lengthy, but let me paint you a picture: I check that the location in Middletown on Washington is indeed open until 10, and at 8:55pm I walk in. A group of three in front of me got their meals and paid in about 5 minutes. The woman at the register asks the man to the left of the counter who had been waiting previously if he is picking up an order and he says yes. She reaches for what looks like a CVS receipt full of takeout order stickers and rolls her eyes. She takes the 5 tickets in his order and brings them to the begining of the counter where I am and says she'll be with me in "more than a few minutes". I take a seat at the chair closest to the counter and wait on my phone. In the next 10 minutes, 3 other single customers walk in and ask if I have been helped yet. I had not. Another coworker is cleaning the dining area and one other kid called over to dump a bag of cold black beans into a metal container. The kid and young woman building the order giggle about how small the kids fruit selection is, and then he disappears. A group of 6 guys walk in together and the young woman finally calls for someone to help the line at the front to help the 10 of us waiting. The girl cleaning the dining area decided to come help since the others are 'preoccupied'. She glanced over at the young woman and mutters "they look pissed", and they giggle. I try to place my order but she informed me that they only have white rice. The pinto beans I asked for was more like a slab of refried beans. There was no corn salsa or mild salsa available, and the other selections that I wasn't interested in looked too neglected to be sold. After considering whether or not it would be worth it to voice my complaints, I paid for my order and put it in the trash. The employees didn't seem that motivated to provide any sort of guest recovery. I got back into my car at 9:16 and rethought my dinner plans. Not the ideal experience to say the least. Read moreI order from here all the time and today the service was appalling . I ordered online because I was in a rush and the lines are always long . My order was supposed to be ready at 5:10 . When I arrived it was still not ready I waited till 5:28 to give the staff more time because they were busy . At this point I realized they had completely stopped makeing online orders in order to only serve the clients in the store. It was extremely unnecessary to three people serving customers in store yet no one doing online orders . At that point I asked why my food wasn’t ready and they just kept saying they where busy and it would be awhile when I questioned why no one was making online orders they ignored the question and just kept serving people in line . If I had known that I would’ve just went in line and had my food rather than waiting 40 plus minutes then getting attitude from the staff. Not only this I was extremely dissatisfied with the food I live in Waterbury and was stupid enough to not check my food . In light of the current times surrounding the public health concern pertaining to COVID-19, we appreciate the food service personnel working to provide takeout and delivery service. However, we placed an order through GrubHub which went smoothly, but the food that we received upon delivery prepared by Chipotle was obnoxiously incorrect. We contacted the restaurant and they instructed us to come in and receive a new order. That was done and packaged and wrapped up. It was still incorrect. We shouldn’t have to check the orders that we place to ensure that they are prepared as we selected them. In addition, it’s disappointing that we’ve had to travel to this location more than once in order to receive the correct order. There were 4 staff members working in this location the night that we ordered our food and it has taken 2+ hours to complete and process this order properly. This location is convenient, but this experience was drastically inconvenient, making us likely to not return and provide our business.
