I’ve been a fan of “Gumbo A Go Go” and “J Gumbo” since it first started and only had 1 store in Jtown Louisville. This location is a little different. It’s a J Gumbo EXPRESS, meaning it’s take out ONLY with no dine in option. Quality of the food is the same deliciousness I’m accustomed to. It's a hole-in-the-wall kind of joint run by a super sweet lady who actually lived in NOLA. She will offer you free samples so you can try those dishes you just aren't sure about buying yet.
