I recently paid a visit to my local McDonald's, hoping for a quick and satisfying meal. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While it wasn't a total disaster, it certainly fell short of my expectations.
Let's start with the positives. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with a vibrant atmosphere that reflected the typical McDonald's aesthetic. The staff was friendly and greeted me with a smile. They seemed to be working diligently, trying to keep up with the steady flow of customers.
However, the food itself was a letdown. I ordered the classic Big Mac meal, expecting the iconic burger to deliver its trademark flavor. Sadly, it tasted rather bland and lacked that special something that I remember from my previous visits. The beef patty was dry and overcooked, making each bite a disappointment. The toppings were also sparse and didn't add much excitement to the overall experience.
The fries, one of the highlights of any McDonald's meal, were a mixed bag. While they were hot and crispy on the outside, they lacked that perfect, fluffy interior that I associate with McDonald's fries. It felt like they were left in the fryer for a bit too long, resulting in a somewhat greasy texture.
To make matters worse, the service was slow. Despite the decent number of staff members present, the waiting time was longer than expected. It seemed like the kitchen was struggling to keep up with the orders, leading to a delay in getting food out to customers. As someone who values efficiency and quick service, this was a significant drawback.
Overall, my visit to McDonald's left me feeling underwhelmed. While the restaurant had a pleasant ambiance and the staff were polite, the lackluster taste of the food, subpar fries, and slow service overshadowed the positives. I hope McDonald's can improve the quality of their offerings and streamline their operations to provide a more satisfying experience for their customers.
Please note that experiences may vary between different McDonald's locations, so this review is based on my personal encounter at a...
Read moreHashbrowns? Really? Never, ever been accused of lying about our order when something was missing. Let me backup. Walked in to enjoy a breakfast with my 76 yr mom on a Sunday morning. Had to get someone's attention after standing at the counter for 5 minutes to even be able to place an order. They are only concerned with the drive thru. And if you are trying to force an older generation to use only a kiosk because your staff doesn't know how to interact with the public, shame on you. That's discriminatory, just ask Kroger's. Anyways, when they finally brought our food out after waiting 20 mins, our hashbrowns were missing and we needed butter and jelly. My husband went back up to get the rest of our food. The manager, the actual manager y'all, mind you who has a bull ring hanging out of her nose while she is fixing your food, demands to see the receipt because we didn't pay for hashbrowns. My husband provided the receipt, and she says, "you only ordered two hashbrowns, not 3" To which my husband replied "No, we ordered 2 hashbrowns on the side and the 3rd one comes with my meal". Her reply "Oh" and then proceeded to toss the hashbrowns at my husband. How he kept his cool is beyond me. Then when he asked about the butter and jelly - "well we are out of strawberry jelly - here's grape" and then tossed those at him." And then y'all she walks off and leaves 5 other people standing there in line trying to order or who were trying to resolve their own issues with missing food. We drove 20 mins to get to this McDonalds because my mother said, "it is the best one". If this is the best McDonalds in Middletown, there is a pretty low bar for the rest. All of this over, what maybe 10 cents worth of...
Read moreSo I go through the drive through and I ordered 6 sweet and spicy tenders. The wait wasnt too bad, it wasnt very busy. After I got my food, I seen that they only gave me 4 tenders but charged me for 6. Also, my container was covered in BBQ on the outside, it was a big mess. So I went inside so they could fix it and it was a pretty bad. There was 2 other people that also had problems, one with a tender problem like me and 1 with a chicken nugget problem. I explained my problem to this guy named Shawn who was the manager on duty. He said I'm sorry, we will have you a fresh new batch ready in about 3 minutes. So I waited...25 minutes, I stood there and watched as they helped and served 7 or 8 people inside, some with problems, some just ordering. I'm here getting more and more angry waiting and waiting, giving them really bad looks, like are you kidding me. I wanted to just leave so bad, but they already had my money and I had no food. After all of this, I thought maybe they will give me more than 6 tenders, or a fry, or at least a drink or something for my horrific wait. Instead, the manager just hands me the tenders (box covered in BBQ again) and just says sorry for your wait. I didnt want to deal with them anymore, so I just took my food and left very angrily. I cant believe their customer service was so horrible and their team could not stop making the same mistakes over and over. I will try my best to never go to this terrible...
