Nardelli’s is a legendary name and has been serving amazing grinders to a hungry public since 1922!!! I have sampled so much from their menu and loved it all .....for starters, I like their Seafood Salad, Antipasto, Tortellini, Potato Salad, Macaroni and Chicken Salad. They have incredible tasting ‘Long Hot Stuffed Banana Peppers’, Coleslaw, Yellow Fin Tuna Salad, Mozzarella and Tomato Salad and MORE!!! Each one tastes just like your Italian grandmother — your ‘Nonni’ — made it all from scratch. And that’s the secret to all this amazing food. It IS all made from scratch using only the best - the freshest - ingredients. The name ‘Nardelli’s’ is synonymous with quality. For many many years this family owned business has delighted foodies with their famous hot and cold grinders the size of a city bus!!! I have sampled the classics like their famous ‘Italian Combo’ which features Pruzitini, Capicola, Salami, Provolone and olives and lettuce and tomato with their tongue tingling hot sauce. I also highly recommend you check out the rest of the ‘Nardelli’s Favorites’ menu. I have enjoyed everything from their Chicken Cutlet grinder to their ‘Chipotle’ all natural ‘Fire-Braised Grilled Chicken’ to their meaty ‘Prime Choice Roast Beef’ grinder. They even make an amazing ‘Nardelli’s Style’ Roasted Turkey Club grinder. Their ‘cold’ grinders feature the classics you enjoy, of course - but what is fun and delicious is their ‘Bologna’ grinder. And I love their Seafood Salad grinder too. They even offer a ‘Vegan’ grinder that features plant-based Carpaccio and Prosciutto imported from Italy and topped with Provolone Cheese, lettuce, tomato, olives and ‘Hot Sauce’ — or if you prefer you can substitute ‘Vegan Mayo’. I also like their ‘Yellow Fin Tuna Salad’ grinder. The ‘hot’ grinders are the ‘big guns’ of Nardelli’s. I am a huge meat eater and I love this side of the menu unapologetically! I have sampled every single grinder on this menu and loved it - down to the last bite. I especially love their Meatball Parmigiana, their Steak and Cheese grinder and their Barbecue Rib. I also love their ‘Eggplant Chicken’ grinder and their ‘Fried Mozzarella with Pepperoni’ on ‘grilled Artisan bread’. Nardelli’s grinders - whether ‘hot’ or ‘cold’ - will satisfy the largest appetite. There is also all types of yummy salads available plus soup of the day, Baked Stuffed Clams, Mozzarella-en-Corrozza, Mac-and-White Cheddar Cheese and their amazing Spinach, Broccoli or Eggplant bread. And folks — it ain’t over yet cause Nardelli’s has deserts - that’s right folks!! I love the sinfully rich, creamy Cheesecake Factory ‘Godiva’ Cheesecake. Or their Buckeyes Chocolate with Peanut Butter Cup. They have Chocolate Chip Cookies, Chocolate Mousse Cups and a Chocolate Chip Brownie for the serious chocolate lover! They even have a classic ‘Rice Pudding’ that is oh so creamy and delicious. You gotta check the desert menu out folks. In all there are 17 deserts to choose from. A perfect way to end your fantastic meal...

This is a franchise of the original Nardelli's shops In Waterbury area. It used to be a Dunkin Donuts and is small inside. Stools line the front window if you want to eat there. The food is primarily grinders, the bread is fresh and delicious, deli meats excellent and plentiful. They also have hot grinders made with homemade chicken cutlets, sausage and peppers, the best Italian grinder I've had and delicious eggplant parmesan. They cut up a bunch of crunchy vegetables into very small pieces and mix it like a salad of onions, proper, cucumbers. They automatically add hot sauce so tell them if you don't want it, they have hot peppers too.Lots of free extras for your grinder. Fantastic Nardelli's location. Not only is it right on the main drag of rt 66 (getting out of the parking lot is the biggest issue) it is a clean and friendly store. Every time I go to this location for lunch the staff is excellent- friendly, customer service oriented and polite. I have never had a bad experience. They always overstuff their sandwiches and for the price, you can't go wrong. I LOVE that this location has hardrolls- the one closer to my home only has half-grinders, and sometimes are a little more difficult to eat. I would highly recommend this location....
