First I like to say, Iâm an advocate for Starbucks, I standby this company, however this particular starbucks is âoffbeatâ, out of touch with reality if I might add. Now I waited to write this review until I had about five or six visits under my belt, and this was done so I can be completely fair and honest.
Moving forward, some staff are nice and some are definitely rude and un attentive. The other day I ordered a small cup of coffee with a shot of espresso and my cup got partially made and was left alone at the coffee maker. I was patient as I watched my coffee lose heat with every minute that went by. Now I took in consideration that the drive through was busy, but once I seen staff playing games behind the counter, I intervene and politely ask are âyall working on my coffeeâ one guy was nice about it and assisted me however when I ask did you put the shot of espresso in the cup, he had no clue what was going on, mind you all this time the cup was sitting at the coffee maker getting cold. So anyway another assistant did help him, but at this time I really wasnât interested in the coffee any more, but I took it and it wasnât what I was use to when I order my coffee at startbucks. Now last week I was at christiana mall and the staff were so on point with making my coffee and so attentive that after I drank my cup, I doubled back around to get a second cup and it was the same âenergy and coffee â so my suggestion is, just tighten up on customer service at the middle town starbucks, have a meeting with the staff, I understand they are young, I get that but âcustomer service â is âcustomer service â come on now, starbucks is the prime Real Estate of coffee shops, a certain type of caliber of customers deal with this shop and we...
Read moreI ordered a pup cup and a Frozen Strawberry Lemonade through the drive-thru. I noticed it wasn't anywhere near the consistency in the photos, but I took it and drove around the front. I sat down and realized it was not frozen enough. I went into the store and encountered Lily. The first thing she said was "You can't bring that dog in here." OK - I thought they were a dog-friendly establishment. That was my bad. However, I asked her to remake the drink because it wasn't frozen. Lily said, "I'll remake it, but it melted really fast." I told her that I literally just came from the drive-thru. She again repeated herself saying it melted really fast. Lily said this about 3 or 4 times instead of just taking my drink and remaking it. She never reached out for it. She just stood there with an attitude and said it melts fast. I went out of the store to put my dog in the car and came back in for a refund. I gave Lily feedback on how she could've handled the situation from a customer's perspective and she just shrugged. I told her at this point, I didn't want her to make my drink again. Her response was, I didn't make your drink the first time." Out of everything I said, that's what she focused on. I let her know the when I said "again", I was referring to my drink being made a second time.
I've never experienced anyone rude at Starbucks and I frequent that location a lot. Unfortunately, I don't be going there anymore because I can't stand when people are rude. It could've been a simple transaction. Lily needs some more training if she's going to be helping customers...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience. They at first refused to put my drink in a trenta cup although it's the same drink I get everyday from other starbucks locations, then they hand me the drink 3/4 of the way full. I ask for more oatmilk so I can manually fill the drink up myself. Dan at the window got upset and flustered that I asked for a sweetener packet and handed me a straw. I ask again and he again gets flustered and upset. I get to work, now late because of the ordeal they made me go through to get my drink, and the drink doesn't have the flavor I ordered. I will never be going back to this location after I return to get a refund on my drink. I have NEVER had this bad of service coming to a Starbucks. The workers acted like the extra 4 oz of oatmilk was coming directly out of their paycheck. If you don't like your job...
