I have never in my LIFE witnessed such utterly preposterous and uncalled for unprofessional indecency. A gentleman was in line in front of me and when asked what he wanted, the customer informed him that there was a mixup the day prior and his sandwiches were going to be made today per the manager named Jack, the employee, who's name was Chris that I gathered from the interaction, immediately told the customer to stop yelling at him and to lower his voice. To be absolutely clear, in NO way was this customer loud, rude, or raising his voice in ANY way. The employee Chris was immediately combative with the customer, refused to make the sandwiches and told the other employee to make them (she was an absolute gem and seemed extremely put off by the other employee's behavior) as he stormed off to the back office and yelled that he was calling his manager. Leaving the female employee to fend for herself with a line of people, multiple people waiting for pickup orders who were very frustrated looking, floored by the situation they witnessed, and inquiring about their orders with her, she handled the situation with grace letting them know the order she was going to make everything in, as Chris was I could only assume continuing his absolutely uncalled for tantrum in the back and trying to save his ass with his manager. I refused to stay in line and be met with the same attitude from that employee and I left. That was the worst, most disrespectful experience I have ever witnessed in a professional setting towards a customer. I have been at this location in the past and have witnessed similar attitude from this SAME employee towards customers but always want to give people the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to them having a bad day. Read moreMe and my family did not leave here with food because the young, slow, low IQ, nasty sleeved, black boy. Who didn't know what the hell he was doing. Nor did he probably even know the menu for the company he even worked for. As he had a hard time listening to the order given, then when he stared making said order his nasty sleeves were all in the food during the process, he needed help from one of the other nasty black boys. I waited to see what went on more before me my mother and my brother decided leave. We decided to leave this sorry establishment of a subway. After he totally dismissed toasting my mom and brothers sandwiches only till after putting Lettuce and other ingredients on their sandwiches then the manager woman if even said manager started remaking the sandwich but then started making the wrong sandwich altogether which was the next customers order me and my family was never rude and was completely patient during this process till we left because noting that they were short handed yet they had literally 5 to 6 people working behind the counter. We ended up going to the location in Springboro and had great service, and food and was out the door under 30 minutes like expected to be from a subway. Contacted store manager, said he would have it taken care of the next day to just let him know when I was headed there. Now I was in contact with said manager the entire step of the way up until I stepped in the front door and asked him to speak too, he instructed me to ask for Chris and tell him to remake the sandwiches at no coast to correct the mistake from day before.
Chris immediately became defensive and say I was yelling at him and when I said I’d let the manager know about his attitude today he then refuse to make sandwiches walked off and went to back to call his manager. Leaving his co worker alone and way behind on orders and explaining to the other customers she was sorry and would get to them asap.
So much more could be said but needless to say I won’t revisit this location for many other reasons now. You should really consider looking into this situation because upon other reviews this is an ongoing problem at this store. Also no one wants to eat in a 90° restaurant…Do better...
