The KITCHEN Table — Restaurant in Middletown

What an incredible surprise this place turned out to be! Don't let the pickleball club location fool you - this restaurant serves up absolutely phenomenal food that rivals any standalone eatery.

Our group mostly went with the smash burgers, which were cooked to perfection, but I have to give special praise for their gluten-free options. My wife ordered the BLT on gluten-free bread, and honestly, it was one of the best GF buns I've ever tasted - soft, flavorful, and you'd never know it wasn't regular bread!

Our server Josephine deserves major kudos - she was attentive, friendly, and made our entire dining experience wonderful. The service really elevated an already great meal.

But let's talk about those sweet potato tots - WOW! These aren't your average tots. They're perfectly crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth tender inside, with what tastes like a touch of brown sugar and finished with beautiful large sea salt crystals. Pure genius and absolutely addictive!

The atmosphere is unique and fun, being connected to the pickleball courts. It's so good that it's already convinced my stepmother to drag my father into trying pickleball! They also have an intriguing tequila tree on the menu that we'll definitely be back to try.

My only minor note is that the restroom is a bit of a walk since it's located within the pickleball facility, but honestly, that's a tiny inconvenience for such outstanding food and service.

One star because there is ZERO consistency!! Had their Wagyu smash burger, NPC smash burger & shared a Caesar salad last Friday & everything was so delicious we went back Wednesday evening & it was terrible!! The wagyu patties were burnt on the edges, patties were smaller than a few days ago, wanted sautéed mushrooms this time but didn’t have any!! When paying $25 for a burger it should always be fantastic!! Also ordered Patty melt that was supposed to have caramelized onion & there were none, bread wasn’t even toasted. Ordered specific sides with each order & a separate Caesar salad, didn’t get the sides we ordered instead gave us Caesar salad as our sides & was very bland unlike a few days ago. We ate dinner here last night and I had to come write a review about the experience and spread the word about The Kitchen Table. Our meal was great and our server Hannah was awesome! I think the Mexican Spice Tequila drink I had was one of the best drinks I had in a really long time. I am always searching for a truly spicy tequila drink and this one finally hit the mark. My nephew loved his pickle sub and the french fries are really tasty (the are made with beef tallow, like the original McDonalds fry!). We also finished the meal with the Toffee Pudding that was always my favorite Fifth Element dessert, and I am so glad it isn't gone for food.
