I went to return my modem today and I felt like the two men working there were very condescending. He asked me if I was moving and I said no. He asked me if I was switching over to T-Mobile and I said yes. He said their service isn't that greatwill be seeing you again. When I told him I was leaving because my bill went from $60 to $106 within three years he said that it was because I was on the highest Internet available. People who work there are nice and try to be helpful but the billing is an absolute nightmare.
I canceled and got a prorated bill but then I got another bill the next month for no reason.
I called my credit card to dispute the charge and remove it which they did but cox came back saying that I had to pay for "the final payment" and blamed my credit card company for removing the last monthly bill which I shouldn't have had to pay in the first place.
I started being spammed by Cox so I called customer service and they wouldn't budge.
When I went to this store, they said that I had to pay in the store, cash or check, for this "final payment" which I just paid just to avoid being spammed and harassed by their billing/collections for something which shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Stay away from Cox if you can in the first place, you’ll save yourself the headache...
