To say that The Bully is a Midland Institution is something of an understatement. It's been around, in one form or another for as long as most of us Old Timers can remember.

A visit back to the Homestead simply isn't complete without a stop at the Bully. Their burgers are legendary and have been the unofficial Best Burger In Town for years. But don't limit yourself to the burgers. They've also got a pretty good selection of other stuff. Yes, it's all typical bar fare, but they do it right at the Boulevard, with generous portions, served with a smile.

Speaking of smiles, I've never had a surly server or grumpy bartender at the Bully. They're friendly and timely with the drinks, food and tab and you can't go wrong with that.

The building, while old is well maintained and still sturdy. The bathrooms are modern, clean and (at my last visit in March) fully functional. They've also got a selection of lotto games and all of the TV's you need to watch the game of your choice.

I can't imagine anyone who lives in Midland not knowing about the Bully. The locals won't be needing or looking for reviews so will most likely never even see this. But, for those of you visiting Midland for the first time, you've got to hit the Bully. At least once. You'll be glad you did. Trust...

Overall disappointed, our server was good, but the food was very sub-par. All the food was basic "GFS" style stuff. Our Waitress recommended the burger, so I ordered one and got my son the kids burger, my wife ordered some apps. The Pretzel bites were the highlight, and they were just "OK". She also ordered the Chips and Dip thinking they would be something special, like a home-made chip or at least home-made dip, NOPE.. literally cheap store brand chips and normal bland chip-dip (what a disappointment). Next the recommended "brew city fries" more store brand garbage. Our burgers came out overcooked and ... you guessed it "pre-made" patties and crappy buns. Our bill was $42 for a burger, fries, kids meal, and 2 apps, so $50 after tip. WAY overpriced for GFS Food

Lets talk about being there on a Sunday (mid-day) and there being a band?? Three older ladies strumming guitars and singing quite loudly, they seemed like lovely ladies, but not so good with the singing, and who made the discission to have a band on a Sunday at noon? I mean... really, it's Sunday, and families want to have a nice lunch and maybe try to talk. TLDR: bland food, Overpriced, underwhelming and a weird band...

The Tech's took me there to show there appreciation for my help, ease to work with & everything that I taught them about Pflow Ind. VRC Prod. Lifts. The place was very busy but did not seem crowded because of the layout was easy to navigate & a sizable space. This was the Tech's favorite place to eat. We seated ourselves & the waitress was there with our menus & pointed out their signature top selling favorites, like the American cheese burger & beer batter French fries. I did get both of them. The burger was one one the best I've had in years. You know you will be getting a great burger anytime you are asked. How do you want your burger cooked. Medium, Med.Well, or Well done. The beer battered french fries were surprisingly good also. I was happy to see that the better was not very thick or caked-on but a nice thin coating that added a good flavor to the french fries. Service was good & one of the best Burger and Fries that I've had in many years. it was easy to see why that was the technicians favorite...

We loved just about everything at The Boulevard. The only complaint was the batter on the fried pickles and mozzarella sticks. We loved our entree's! My husband said the burger was one of the best he's had in a very long time and the waffle fries were amazing. The Bully club was made perfectly, rivaling the club I get at one of my favorite local restaurants. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and the service was quick. Definitely making plans to go back.

Stopped in during a power outage in our area and the place was packed. Despite the crowd, service was quick and efficient. The onion rings with tempura batter were really good, definitely a shareable portion. But the standout dish was the tempura-battered mushrooms, wow! Crispy, flavorful, and also a big portion you’ll want to share. It’s definitely a lot of greasy comfort food, but absolutely worth it.
