I would give a no stars if that was a option after last night. I put in a pick up DRIVE THRU order at 10:20 pm & had my son go pick it up. When he arrived the lady at the window told him it was canceled & there was nothing they could do , I sent him the confirmation code & the emailed receipt so he got back in line showed them the receipt where I was charged the total amount $30 & still they told him it was cancel & couldn’t do anything. I had him drive all the way home to pick me up & we went back to the location. I explained to the lady I did not cancel my order & was charged but she was not helpful at all saying there was nothing she could do because they don’t control the app. Then proceeds to say my confirmation code was under the name Jacoby for a Mc frappe when I had ordered $30 worth of food. I asked to speak to a manager, and she said she was supposedly a manager her name was Rosa. Very rude !!! So she proceeds to send me to the other window because I was not leaving without my order because again I did not receive any confirmation That my food was canceled so they were going to return my money. I get to the window & Again, the same conversation and argument with the man proceeding to tell me my order was canceled, and I was going to be refund the money, But I had not received anything saying my order was canceled. Then he Proceeds to tell me they have a lot of people With canceled orders and none of them, sit there and complain or Argue. It wasn’t until another manager approached (Kimberly) and asked what was going on so again for The fifth time I explain everything to her and she pointed out my order, had been sitting on the counter for almost over an hour. The man had the audacity to say “oh that order has been sitting there for an hour” yeah because you have been here Arguing telling me my order was canceled when it has been sitting there getting cold. If it would not have been for Kimberly I would left with no food. They didn’t even apologize or offer to refund my money for having me literally Argue with them for almost an hour. Even after all that I get home & my order was WRONG I was charged for Large meals & they...
Read moreSORRY SERVICE! I went in to this McDonalds during the afternoon, and I had got the sweet and spicy honey BBQ glazed tenders. I decided to go in because the line was long and once I ordered I went back to the car but I had no sauce on my tenders whatsoever. I politely went back in and asked the manager if I could have more sauce on the tenders all he did was look at me with a "I don't care" look, didn't say sorry or a word, just grabbed the box out of my hand and handed it to the lady to put "more sauce". I got my tenders back again, left, went back to the car, and there was still NO SAUCE on my tenders. After going back in for the third time I informed the manager that I had to keep coming in and asking them to sauce my tenders and why could they not get that right. The manager who referred himself as "Jeremiah", gave me attitude and told me that he was "BUSY!". By this time I had became very frustrated and I let him know I did not care about him being "busy" that I was a customer and I wanted my SIMPLE order right. He just gave me attitude took my box out of my hand, went to the back, and then just handed them to me again with no apologies whatsoever. I decided to return the tenders and I got my money back and went elsewhere. I think that it's sad that McDonald's has a "manager" like this representing their establishment who clearly had no respect for me whatsoever. The young lady at the front was so nice, I wish I would have gotten her name. She even apologized for the managers rudeness. She needs to be the manager because she clearly showed what good customer service was about. I hope McDonalds takes care of this issue & the rude...
Read moreFast in and out. This is also a go-to fast stop after after a morning of NPT (non-productive time) in a medical facility waiting room. For the same reasons as the McDonald's on 8th Street in Odessa, the extended breakfast menu hours are a blessing when the patient, who has some dietary restrictions, can get food in her system once they are done drawing samples for tests and such.
This place was reasonably fast. They have not yet beat the time from arrival through ordering to food in hand that 8th Street in Odessa achieved a week or so later, but with random traffic density fluctuations that is to be expected. It may be that another visit might beat the 8th Street time, or another visit to the 8th Street McDonald's could be much, much slower if a crowd arrives just ahead of us. I kind of suspect the median and mean wait time averages out fairly similar.
Often the time of day we go through here is similar to when we end up at the place in Odessa, depending on which appointment is happening that day.
It is a right turn into the location if you are going southeast. It also lies near the midpoint between the medical facility and the pharmacy, and so we sometimes go inside rather than the drive-through where we can eat and then be better fueled up while the pharmacy fills the patient's prescription a mile and a half down the street, thus "parallel processing" and interleaving multiple instances that would otherwise be...
