The overall vibe and the decor of the restaurant are excellent. You can see the owners took great care in designing the theme. I love how they have the wall displaying Santorini and then incorporated some of Texas into the landscape. The tables and the bathroom were clean, as was the floor. I had the Mediterranean wrap with falafel. The falafel was good and not dry. However, the wrap overall was bland. I was quite surprised by this, given all of the ingredients included in that wrap. I had the regular fries, and they were very tasty. For me, the portion was generous. I could only eat half of my wrap. You can tell that the food is prepared with love. My experience with Mediterranean cuisine has always consisted of a bold taste with fantastic olive oil and spice flavors. I just did not see that with my meal. Given the cost, I am debating on trying the restaurant again. If I did, I would probably get a bowl instead of a wrap.

We’ve gone before, and you could tell they were warming up and getting settled. This time, they were EXCELLENT! You can tell they’ve settled into a good routine and know what the customers want. Hubby got the street doner with beef/lamb and fries. It was so large, he could only eat half. I didn’t hear anything but munching from him for a good ten minutes! His fries (half of which I stole) were a 10/10 and the aioli sauce was ridiculously good. I got the remix bowl with beef-lamb and rice, and I was not disappointed! I do wish they had added extra crispy garbanzos to it, they were surprisingly addictive. I also got tzatziki sauce on the side, and they’ve upped their recipe for it. It was way improved from last time, and I used the entire thing. I loved the lemon herbed tahini sauce, and although I’m not a fan of harissa sauce in general, it wasn’t terrible. Great place to go now, and the portions match the price!

10/5/23 What a beautiful new addition to our area. My husband and I love Mediterranean food and were excited to try this out for the first time. We had the Gyro with beef & lamb, half order of doquitos, Berliner pie with beef & lamb and a baklava. To drink we had the Mykonos berry mojito and Tall city honey blonde. All items were good. I would have liked if they added cut up banana peppers on the Berliner pie, it was good but was missing a little something to make it great. The doquitos were good and I enjoyed the salad that came with it, but the burnt ends were not a great way to start and finish the taste. The Mykonos mojito is smaller than I expected and it was strong, almost undrinkable strong. The atmosphere is great especially if you want something quick, we just wish there was light music playing because it was so quiet. Overall, we definitely can’t wait to try this place again and update my review.

This place looked amazing online. The marketers wrote a check that restaurant couldn't cash.

We ordered online. We selected "ASAP" and we were told our order would be ready in approximately 20 minutes. We arrived 16 minutes after placing the order. The place looked nice, but there was nobody there to serve us. There were a couple of guys drinking at the bar, but otherwise it was an empty place. Our food was already there are ready to go...waiting in a giant paper sack behind the register with no warmer. No Employees around. We waited about 5 minutes before someone came to the front. She looked annoyed to see us, and her tone matched. To be fair, she did ask..."Can I help you?" But it was really more of a "you are bothering me what do you want?" sort of tone. We politely said we had a pick up order, to which she just rolled her eyes, grabbed the giant bag of food and handed it to us.

I said, "Thanks have a nice day!" She didn't say that...I the customer said it to her, to try to make the mood a little merrier, but she didn't respond...just did a slight eyebrow lift of acknowledgment.

The food was all cold. Not like, it had been waiting at the counter for us to get there cold. More like, made with old left over fries from lunch cold. Horrible.

None of the dishes looked good. Online they looked awesome, they didn't look anything like that.

We got several things, one was the Doner Basket. It had a slight smattering of cold fries in the mix, but mostly it was just a mediocre salad.

I've eaten a lot of Falafel in my life, this was the worst I've ever had. When I go to an authentic Mediterranean place they are the best. But this place is a chain and it shows...CAVA has much better food for less.

Also got an order of mixed fries...all cold and stale.

The only thing that wasn't a horrible disappointment were the complimentary slices of pita bread.

The portions were horrible. We spent $70 then we had to go get another meal because none of us felt like we ate anything. Total waste of time and money...Do not go here!

I would like to offer suggestions for them to make it better, but I think just basically caring about fresh food and customer service would probably cover it.

Also, I tipped on my online order, I put in a custom amount and only did $5 on a $65 order. I know there is some debate here but I feel like that is more than enough for someone just to provide nice service and hand me a bag of food in the takeout. But I almost got the feeling I was being punished...

What's the food like? Lunch style

Is it indoor or outdoor? Both. There is booth seating, table seating, even bar seating all inside. If you don't want to sit inside you can sit outside tables. During the winter I know they have heaters going to your not so cold.

Busy? I'd tell you the perfect time to go so you can beat the rush...but then you'd know our special time. It does get very busy around 12:00 lunch time. So there is a high possibility that you will not get a seat to sit at during lunch rushes.

Can you order out? Yep. We do this when it does get busy or when we are unable to take a late lunch. (I'm telling you it can get pretty busy during lunch rush.)

Is it kid friendly? Yes. Like almost every restaurant in Midland it does have a bar but I have never seen people go there for just drinks. Generally you see more of the upper class professionals trying to get a relaxing lunch and talk to co-workers or friends. Teens generally like the place but younger kids may feel it very boring.

Clean? Ummmmmm, compared to other cities and their restaurants. No, it's not that clean. Compared to other restaurants in Midland/Odessa area...yes. Sounds horrible huh? If you’re a Midlander you'll totally get this but generally most of our restaurants are unable to keep their staff very long. Generally everyone goes out to the oilfields. So you may have to clean a few crumbs off the table or sit at one that is sticky. I know it's sad but true. But overall compared to the Majority of the restaurants in this area Spitz is clean.

Food good? Yep, very good. If you have no idea what to order definitely try the sweet potato fries, a wrap or the chicken wings. (Heads up...there is no ranch sauce!)

Service: Great, friendly. As like many other places you might go there and get a bad server or see one who sits idly by doing nothing while the others work their tail bone off. If per chance you get this on your first visit please try it again. Likely they, like most, will be there for a short time and will be gone for another job. There's some fantastic workers that are awesome!

Price: Typical lunch price. Nothing fancy.

What to wear? As I stated most people go here during work hours or after work hours. Casual for the most part but you'll see everything from shorts and flip flops, to business suits and dresses. Nothing fancy so if you’re traveling and you haven't brushed your hair in hours. You’ll...

Very unorganized restaurant but very good food. First i call in an order and was put on hold for 15 monutes. So i hung up and call right back. As soon as i called back they were ready to take my order. So i placed my order and was asked for my credit card number over the phone. This is not good practice as I have experienced bank fruad. I asked if i could pay when i arrived and was told i could not order if i did not give my card number. Against my better judgement I gave in. Upon arrival, i was asked my name and was then told they had no order for me, i told them they better have my order after i gave them a credit card number over the phone. They went to the back to look for my order again, then came back and told me they found my order but they were sorry and i would have to waite another 30 to 40 minutes. In irritation i told the young lady when i ordered i was told it would be read in 30 minutes, which i have already waited but ok. 10 to 15 mins later they came out with my food. They were really busy but come on, none of this was professional. So i got my food and went to my hotel. Food was good but were is my reciept? They charge you over the phone but do not give reciept to see your charges? I used my company card and use elreciepts to prove my expences. Again very unprofessional. Even though the food was good, not home cooking good. (Im Lebanese ) but zoey's kitchen good, i dont think i will be back. I will also be watching for my charges as they have not made me feel comfortable whith how they handle charges and reciepts. Very...
