Tall City Brewing Co. — Restaurant in Midland

Very disappointed. While traveling through Midland we decided to stop in Midland for the night. Enjoying craft brews we were looking forward to some good local beer. We had tasted Tall City brews in San Angelo and wanted to try some more. The website said they closed at 10 and we arrived at 8PM. There was a note on the door that stated private event tonight. There were no cars in the parking lot and about three on the side. We saw three persons inside, one or two behind the bar and one sitting down. We were disappointed that they closed. I come here for the food trucks. On several occasions, I've tried a beer and each time I have been disappointed. I ordered the wheat beer today and it was undrinkable. I took the full beer inside and let the bartender know it was not good....no can I get you anything else, no what was wrong with it, no can I get you your money back....just an "ok" and turned back to the conversation with a fellow employee. If you come here, come for the food trucks....do not come here if you're expecting a good beer with good service. Also, they have nothing available to drink other than water if you're a designated driver or just do not care to...

It's not the best I've been to, not the worst. I visit on average 4 breweries a month [I travel for work] it was loud inside and hot outside. Basically no customer service unless they know you. I waited 20 mins to get my 1st beer while the bartenders kept serving people behind me. Finally got a beer and the trivia music was so loud people was wincing and plugging thier ears. I went outside where it was HOT. No fans where on and it smelled like burnt food. I left after 1 beer. It was decent, maybe I came on an off night. But bartenders didn't recommend anything and atmosphere wasn't it. Recommend...
