KFC — Restaurant in Midlothian

This was my second time having a poor experience at the KFC in Midlothian. I went in today and asked that my chicken be fried fresh and cooked a few minutes longer so it would be extra crispy. The woman working at the front, named Kawana, told me that the chicken was already fresh and that she would drop it back in the grease to make it crispy. I told her I would prefer to have freshly made chicken that was just cooked a few minutes longer, and I didn’t mind waiting. She said that putting it back in the grease would still keep it fresh, and that was my only option after I argued with her about wanting freshly cooked, extra crispy chicken. I asked her if she understood exactly what I was requesting. She replied that I was not at home. She then said she needed a break and walked away. After waiting at the front for several minutes, I yelled to the back and asked if anyone else was working who could take my order. A man, who said he was the cook, and a young woman whose name started with T came to the front. The man, claiming to be the cook, offered to take my order and sincerely apologized for Kawana’s behavior. Not only was this a terrible experience for me, but other patrons also commented on her poor behavior. I feel like food costs entirely too much these days to have to argue with employees about how to prepare it as requested. KFC needs to better train their employees. So the other day we went to KFC October 1st a little after 3 p.m. we had a young gentleman who brought out our food and I had let him know that the tea was fresh and amazing and that it was way better than Taco Bell's which tasted moldy in fact most of the fast food places here don't keep up with their tea which is one of the main reasons why I go. I was unable to catch the name of the young gentleman who indeed was the one who actually made our tee it was fresh and very satisfying to the tongue. Needless to say I hope they don't fire the guy because he's pretty amazing when it comes to tea and I would definitely go back just for their tea. The mashed potatoes were amazing as usual for KFC and the gravy was awesome with well with the mashed potatoes. The chicken strips were very tender and easy to eat and just delectable. The biscuits are always amazing no I'm not a fan of dark meat but the other stuff was very good too. All in all a very good experience...

I’ve come here many times being that I live in Midlothian and I’ve have not one relatively positive experience. This time I got a famous bowl with an order of fries. I asked for my chicken on the side and was given 4 small, soft chicken nuggets (not the normal crispy, popcorn-like chicken that is supposed to go inside). At the window I asked for a single packet of ranch and was charged for it (that was the one and only condiment I had asked for, but was still charged). And of course, like every single visit I’ve ever had here, the customer service is absolutely awful. From the moment you pull up to the drive-thru speaker to the moment you get your food to head off, they are so unwelcoming and RUDE. I don’t think this location has one single employee here who has the decency to treat their customers with respect. It’s the same awful...
