Midtowne Donuts — Restaurant in Midlothian

I’ve been a customer since 2017 since I moved to Midlothian but this morning I had a really bad experience as I was picking up my order that I placed a month in advance. I had placed my order over the phone for 24 custom Halloween themed donuts and 24 kolaches. I had told the girl who took my order that I would pay the morning of pickup since I would be collecting money from my child’s class to help pay for the cost. I show up this morning and the same girl that took my order over the phone must have had a misunderstanding because the order was never actually placed and there was nothing for me to pick up. I could tell she felt bad and mentioned that she was sorry but I’m assuming the owner on the other hand was not to be bothered. She was completely rude and unapologetic for the mishap. She said that I would've had to pay for it in full before an order would be placed but her employe didn’t follow protocol and never took any payment and just took my order. The owner never offered a solution, didn't try to work with me and couldn’t care less if I left a happy costumer. I ended up still purchasing plain donuts even though I was frustrated at the situation because I had 20 kids waiting on donuts for their class party. The owners up here is go help everybody in line but a African-American they go speak to everybody in English, but the African-American as soon as the African-American try to speak to them, they go try to act like they don't know English because they don't want Black people in there buying donuts which is very sad what did we do to y'all? I am new to Midlothian and have usually visited a donut shop closer to home. Today I decided to go try this place as we've decided to support as many of our local businesses as possible. I am a big fan of Cronuts and was happy to see the offering. I tried to pull a piece off and found it to be quite stretchy. Cronuts are usually crispy and flaky. I peeled off the outer layer and found how undercooked it was. I wouldn't be so disappointed if it didn't cost almost $4...$3.85 to be exact. This was a miss and not so good start to my day.
