Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe - Chesterfield — Restaurant in Midlothian

This was my first visit. I ordered the Greek salad with salmon. The food was absolutely delicious. The salmon was so flavorful and moist. I don't even like olives bit they one in my salad was delicious. The only down side was that my salad was supposed to have olives and pita chips with it but it only had 1 olive and 1 pita chip. Other than that, it was great. My husband ordered the vegetarian gyro. His came with potato chips and a tomato and cucumber salad. He said his food was delicious as well. The guy who took our order did forget to ask us what sides we wanted but he rectified that by coming to our table. The restaurant was clean. I could see what chefs coming right in the front of the restaurant and they seemed to have a great head chef who was spurring them on to complete orders quickly. I'm difficult to please at restaurants but this place definitely made me happy. The meal cost $24 for to people to eat and it's totally worth the cost due to the great tasting food. I had a penne pasta salad special. It lacked flavor. It tasted like plain penne pasta with just vinegar there were tomatoes and onions in as well you couldn't taste them seems like they were old. It was my first time at this place and I was blown away when I paid with my debit card she asked how I would like my receipt would I like it to my email or printed I said printed she said oops it already went to your email I asked how that was possible because I had never been there before so how would they have my email so she turned the screen around showed me an email that was not mine I have two emails which are quite similar and that was neither one. So how did me entering my debit card into their machine bring up an email that is not mine that makes me worried. Due to the lack of flavor I don't think I will be back there but just saying if I was to which I'm not I would definitely use cash because I'm not fond of that little white thing that...

Ordered from UberEats, and decided to order a bunch to sample. I ordered the whipped feta, shrimp feast, and chicken lemon soup, and baklava. The whipped feta was perfect, I’d order that again. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned & tender (even better with a squeeze of the lemon they provide—nice touch!). The rice that came with the shrimp feast had a bit too much lemon for my liking so I tossed it. The salad that came with it was ok...only two olives and very few feta crumbles but greek dressing was decent. The chicken lemon soup was too “lemony”/tangy for my liking (and I LOVE lemon). The chicken within the soup seemed a tad overcooked & dry like maybe it was boiled separately but maybe for too long prior to adding it to the soup. Unfortunately, the baklava was missing from my order so I can’t say how that was.

So ultimately, I might consider trying this place out again but it’s not anything I’m dying to...
