Arrived at 3:47 no one was at the restaurant was seated quickly. My order was taken 5 minutes later. Nothing else was said to me and proceeded to sit for 0 for my two appetizers one the steam dumplings which were okay, and some shrimp eggs which I did not order. My second appetizer was the crispy tofu and had to wait another ten minutes before that arrived followed up by my entree a minute later.
Dumplings were okay, they were served with a seat and sour fish sauce as well as the tofu. Tofu was good crispy in the exterior nice and soft in the interior could not complain on it.
Now to the flat Thai noodles. Spice was mellow for 3 spice level. Good flavor heavy on the chat though, had an after taste heavily like a bottom of a pan. The noodles cooked properly and good taste, just one tip guys don’t burn the vegetables on the wok, would’ve made it a lot better.
Over all experience, you guys have a lot to work on. The place looks great from the outside but when it’s middle of the day and your sign is still showing close we have an issue there. When I was seated I was asked to sit where ever I Wanted. I picked a dirty table on purpose to see if my waiter would at least clean it. He did not he just left me there. The whole time I was there no one check on me asked me how everything was and a different waiter had to refill my drink. I had to use my own napkin to at least clean my table down, never ended up using it for myself. You guys have a lot to work on.
Hopefully on my next return you guys can do better and give better service and...
Read moreBeen going to this restaurant for years… Honestly sorry I haven’t written a review sooner. This place is amazing and I hope and pray it never ever ever closes. From the moment you walk in, the friendly staff make you feel right at home. And as for the food… I’ve never had anything bad here.
The Pad Thai is a classic done right—perfectly balanced with just the right mix of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors, topped with crunchy peanuts.
For something bolder, the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) is a must-try. It’s rich, spicy, and loaded with fresh basil and vegetables that bring the dish to life.
One of the standouts on the menu is the Tom Kha soup. Creamy, fragrant, and slightly sweet, this coconut milk-based soup is comfort in a bowl. It’s a great way to start your meal or even enjoy as a light main dish.
If you’re craving something hearty, the Yellow Chicken Fried Rice is packed with flavor—rich, turmeric-kissed rice, tender chicken, and just the right amount of seasoning make it a satisfying option. THIS HAS BEEN MY NEW FAV!!
Don’t skip the Gyoza either. These pan-fried dumplings are crisp on the outside and filled with savory goodness inside—great as a starter or a side.
Thai Tie manages to combine consistently delicious food with genuinely kind and attentive service. Try it out! Even if you’ve never tried Thai food. And believe me, I’ve tried other Thai spots all over dfw and this...
Read moreUpdate in March 2023... Since we put up great reviews the place started getting a lot more business. We went back and it was absolutely horrible service. They had a single girls trying to run the entire place; checking people out, taking takeout orders and waitress. The entire dining room was full and about half the people were obviously done for awhile and quite ready to leave. We were given menus when we were seated but after 45mins without so much as being offered water or drink orders we got up and left. I hope they will get with the program quickly and hire some staff or in my opinion they shouldn't have a dining room. The food is obviously good there was a very busy takeout going on.
I am not sure if people in the area don't like great Thai food or don't realize this place is there; we were concerned to see not many people there during a Saturday dinner hour but they are one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to and I come from a foodie rich area. Great prices, great selection, and excellent service and atmosphere. We brought little kids and they were very kid friendly.
We will definitely be going back now that we have...
