I was treated as if I were invisible and then talked to in a rude manner after they accepted my money online.
I ordered a large Italian pizza online then arrived at your store to pick it up, I opened the door to the restaurant, I never said anything to anyone, and a girl walked passed me and said "I'm off, I can't help you" I still didn't say anything to anyone but proceeded to walk to the counter, there were four (4) people in my view from the counter, a skinny guy with ear bud in his left ear, and girl by the oven and the guy with glasses with long hair who later says he is the manager.
No one greeted me when I walked in, they stood around talking, finally I asked, " can someone help me"? No one moved or acknowledged me. So I asked again, at this time, the skinny guy had moved in front of me and I asked him, can you help me? He says, "I'm doing something, somebody else will help you later."
At this point I'm becoming angry because all I needed was for someone to hand my pizza to me so I could leave, It was already made and paid for. Finally, the girl standing by the oven comes to me, and I tell her, all I need is my pizza. I came home and thought about my treatment there and called the store to speak with whoever the manager was there, later found out it was the guy with the long hair and glasses looking at me but not offering to assist me, in talking with him, He offered No Empathy at all, instead he started to argue with me, telling me, they didn't have to greet me when i walked in, then he says the oven doesn't stop so No I couldn't assist you, then he says the company/restaurant have video and cameras, so all this is caught on video,
I advised him then that is to my benefit in proving No One offered to assist me when I walked in, so Please, I am asking you to look at the video and you will see those people are Poor employees, and they have to understand, we the customers are providing them with a paycheck, as I got in the car, I looked inside and they were shaking their heads and shrugging their shoulders as If I was in the wrong for asking them to help me. If they don't want to be helpful, kind, friendly and assist the customers, then they should be FIRED and find a job where they don't have to immediately interact with PAYING Customers. I will Not be going back to that location, and also advised others I know to stay clear. It cost you Nothing to be kind or nice, especially to people who are helping you...
Read moreI typically don't write reviews of restaurants unless the service is really questionable, since I know the industry is very demanding and everyone is just trying their best...but my experience with Domino's recently is worthy of such a review. A few weeks ago, my husband and I ordered a pizza online on a Sunday evening. The digital pizza tracker wasn't loading in my email so after about 45 minutes I called the location to ask about it. The person on the phone just said, "Yeah, that tracker thing never works."
When I asked about my order, he told me it was ready and somebody, at some point, would deliver it to us. We waited about another hour and a half, and I called again..just to make sure the place was even still open. (It was nearing 9:00 and I didn't know what their Sunday hours were, or if the hours were different due to COVID.) "It should go out soon," he said, "we're just pretty busy, you know how it is."
We had placed the order at around 6:30, and we finally got our pizza at 9:15.
It was good but it was pretty cold, and our breadsticks had all kind of congealed into a room temperature Bread Monster. The customer service/human element of this encounter was fine -- the person answering the phone was polite, though kind of dismissive of us; the delivery driver was apologetic and surprised when we tried to give him a tip (a bad sign! He apologized and asked if we really wanted him to have it! What??) ; the pizza was technically made correctly, although we were so hungry at that point I'm not sure I would've noticed -- but the logistics of this were terrible.
I should have just asked for a refund after the first hour had come and gone, but the details I was given on the phone were just vague enough to make me think that the pizza was literally about to go out at any minute. Instead we waited for 3 hours like a couple of chumps.
We haven't had pizza since. Our appetites hold a grudge, apparently. And if we DO have pizza again...it will probably be the kind you buy at the grocery store and toss...
Read morePlaced my delivery order at 8:20. Brent, the delivery driver, got here at 8:47 with the wrong order. I called the restaurant and got ahold of someone at 8:49 to inform them the order received was incorrect and the driver had literally just left. He placed me on hold and called the driver, came back on the line and said the driver is turning around and bringing me my order. 15 min later, no driver. I call again. Same guy answers and makes excuses saying driver should be pulling up any minute. 20 min later I call again and let him know the driver still isn't here. Guy asks me for my order "for stock purposes" and reiterates the driver should be here any minute blah blah blah. I give it about 45 min thinking maybe he was remaking my pizza and just didn't want to admit a mess up on their part, yet still no pizza or driver!! I call back AGAIN! Same guy. Says it's his fault, he thought the driver picked up my order but it's still sitting under their heating lights. I ask how long it will be considering it's after 10pm and I ordered it at 8:20. He says about 45 minutes! Maybe 30, but possibly 45. Not one time did he offer a discount, or even apologize for their mess up. I pick up orders from this place all the time, but this is my first time having to get delivery due to my husband being at work, and this will definitely be my last! There is NO excuse for this. I'm literally a 2 minute drive from them. I cancelled my order and asked for an entire refund plus the driver tip I provided for no reason at all. We'll see if I have trouble getting...
