Jimmy's Egg — Restaurant in Midwest City

Never again will I order food to go from Jimmy's Egg in Midwest City. I placed my order on Sunday, Father's Day, by phone at 9:15 am. They said it would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I got there just shortly before 9:40 am. I told them I called in an order and gave them my name. I waited. About 5 minutes after I got there, another lady came in and placed her order to go. I waited 20 more minutes. The whole time the employee was telling me that my order was almost ready. Then the cashier tried to give me that other lady's order, which I knew wasn't mine. So I asked if it included what I ordered and the cashier looked dumbfounded and said no. I then told her that I placed my order 50 minutes ago, and she repeated "50?" I said yes. Then she stated out loud that she wondered if it was one of the bags that was sitting next to the register the entire time I was waiting. She didn't offer to remake it or discount or comp my meal that was getting cold...

I had a To-go order I ordered on the phone. They had not even started my order until I physically went inside to pay. Then, they waited until they helped everybody out everybody else at the tables! Then they put my order in 20 mins later it sat there open for 10 minutes and one manager said 3 times to a worker "oh can you go bag that up" worker said hold on I got to go help a table first. The second time I asked. Was my simple order ready? I waited 45 minutes on top of the time it took me to drive there. I end up asking for a refund because the food was cold & the order was all wrong! The worker says to her manager. The same worker who didn't bag it up and give it to me. Said to her manager, I was getting ready to eat that! Why did you throw it away! I think that she purposefully didn't bag our orders. Why else would she say she wanted to eat it? Horrible! Never eating...

Sentimentality. Dad & I would eat breakfast here when he was living and I visited. Brother and I ate here to remember him and do a bacon n eggs meal. Although recently redecorated, they didn't make the restroom as nice as dining area. It still wouldn't get 5 stars but I would be more impressed.

Meal was okay. Brother couldn't eat all his food, he choose big items as sides. My side of fruit cup was melons... :-( spring time and I got autumn fruit. Server was nice to offer strawberries as substitute. Was better but fruit still under ripe.

Picky yes. I figure if you're paying for meal out it should be as good as you can get at home. Eggs good. Bacon n link sausages good. Hash Brown's good. Decaf coffee good. Sever excellent. Location usually good but right now local streets are under construction. No gluten free here. Take your enzymes...
