Dunkin' — Restaurant in Mifflin Township

I went through the drive thru last week with my husband, child, and my mother-in-law for a treat while out and about. The experience was quite frustrating. The man could not understand 3/4 of anything we repeated into the intercom and had to switch with a woman. I ordered for myself a decaf mocha latte, a brown sugar cold brew with cream for my husband, and a duplicate of my drink only with almond milk for my MIL. At the window they were all confused with our order. The woman came to the window with the brown sugar cold brew with WHIPPED CREAM and rolled her eyes at me as she walked away when we explained we had said WITH CREAM not with whipped cream. Then I asked the man to repeat and confirm our order to which he asked again what we ordered while trying to encourage me to take the cup. I repeated my request to have HIM repeat to us what they had on their screen to which he simply said, "caramel?" Exasperated I said no. The woman came back to the window to assist him and to clear the confusion. While she was trying to repeat the order she kept rhythmically tapping and touching and contaminating the lip and mouth hole of the lid to one of the cups with her bare finger which made me uncomfortable as I am ripe with child and prefer not to go through the day with diarrhea. We ended up leaving the drive thru and going to the Starbucks across the street in Kroger. ...

I wish I could give no stars! The guy in the window WAS RUDE! He rushing me the whole time I was trying to order. I get to the window and he gave me the wrong drink so when I told him that I did not order that, and that was the wrong drink, he snatch the drink out of my hand and rolled his eyes. Not to mention my donut box was dirty on the top, He was standing there with his shirt pulled up, scratching his stomach, And scratching his back, rubbing his hands all over his face without any gloves on, and did not wash his hands. So because he was so boldly to stand there and have his shirt pulled up on me in Plain view, I decided I did not want anything from there, and seeing the condition of the top of my box of donuts, and the fact the he scratched the drink out my hand I asked for refund. He started laughing because I asked for refund and got the manager. The manager asked me what was wrong and as I was telling him, the guy proceeds to stand there with his shirt up, scratching his hairy stomach and back. The manager never told him to put his shirt down and that it was inappropriate for him to have his body showing touching himself. Will NEVER come to this place again. The manager didn’t even...

I don’t usually go to Dunkin. I’ve always liked Starbucks coffee more but decided to try it this afternoon because of one of my friends that’s obsessed with their coffee.

I would also like to include that I’ve worked in fast food for a few years and understand the importance of order accuracy and drive thru times/speeds.

I ordered an iced coffee and a jelly donut. By the time I got to the window, this middle aged man tore into me. He said “ is this your first time?? Have you never ordered in a drive thru before? You had all of these cars waiting behind you to order? Is this your first time actually? You took so long to order. You came at such a bad time.”

I would also like to include that there was one car that pulled up behind me during this transaction and that it was almost 2pm in the afternoon.

Overall, I’m very disappointed. At the bare minimum, I didn’t even get my jelly donut. He gave me someone else’s. I don’t know if all Dunkin’s are like this but I’ve never experienced such horrible, uncalled for customer...
