I had no idea this hidden gem was inside of a liquor store! Upon walking in, it smelt phenomenal. The variety they had to offer looked stunning and picture perfect. I got the ham & cheese croissant and the eggplant & pepper quiche. I wanted one of everything that they had in the case because it was so visually gorgeous, but I had to practice self control. Their offerings covered all bases from sweet to savory along side of a solid bread program. My first bite of the quiche was so delightful and perfect. I could tell that who ever made it was up super early in the morning using high quality ingredients and took their time to properly respect each ingredient and the process in general that French pastry requires. They have ample experience consistently executing a proper bake. The pasty was on point. The amount of butter they incorporated was correct, and the amount of layers the pastry had was ideal. Flaky, crisp, rich, and expertly balanced. The vegetables didn’t loose their integrity through the baking process, and I felt like I had the opportunity to appreciate each component for the simplistic essence they were meant to offer. Nothing felt masked or over seasoned and sauced. These people know how to respect food and the flavor they were able to showcase was perfectly balanced and absolutely delightful. All of the same sentiments for the ham & cheese croissant. As a chef myself, I am able to appreciate & respect the love, tedious time consuming temperamental labor and intensive work that goes into this level of French baking. It takes an experienced & efficient pastry chef to accomplish this kind of French Patisserie work. The woman who operated the store front was a sweetheart and I watched her work through a small morning rush along side of another coworker so efficiently and respectfully.

And it's fantastic. On our first visit, my wife and I bought plain croissants, almond croissants, cinnamon rolls, plus grilled chicken and pesto croissant sandwiches for supper (we ate only the sandwiches for supper). Everything was over-the-top great. The pastry was to die for and the sandwiches were moist and flavorful. Look them up and get there early. They run out of things fast. The only downside is if you get there early enough to buy the fantastic pastry and bread, the liquor store will...

If you like carbs you will enjoy this spot. The quiche is a decadent custard that’s light and fluffy and wholesome with a pastry shell that has the perfect crisp. The croissants are the best in the region really nailing the light, flaky puff of a croissant whether chocolate or ham and cheese. The cannelé are a new favorite of never experienced before; with a crispy burnt sugar outside and a fluffy, spongy inside that has a slight sweetness. Everything is fresh and keeps well for a couple days.
Thank you bringing amazing pastries and breads...
