Price changes lunch is 13 dinner is 21
The food was definitely worth 13, maybe dinner would've been better? Food was good for its price, not too salty, not too much of anything sometimes. Some food needed more salt but there's a salt shaker at ur table. The host was really nice and welcoming. I been seeing reviews on how people say everyone seem like they have an attitude but when I went there nobody really look like they were in a bad mood. I feel like they just look that way lol. Us Asians just look and sound mean but that's just how we talk and look. Someone on the review said the sushi guy was being rude and purposely pretending to not hear what they were saying. So apparently the same guy works 1-2 but when I saw him, he just sounded like he doesn't understand English too well but he's very nice. He served sushi perfectly.
Sadly I came there hoping for oyster but there was nothing. But that's my fault at the end, on their website it said to call them because they might have different foods other than whats being display on their menu. It was mainly chinese food with little seafood. Dessert was very good, not dry. My husband very picky but he loved their dessert. He ate mostly dessert than actual food lol. I was already too full on their food. I was really scared wasting my money on bad service and bad food. But they were good, they check on u very often to make sure u are doing okay or if u need more drink. The food was worth $13 for sure. I'll be sure to update everyone how dinners like. Warning, for every plate that u don't finish is $10. But it might be just to scare u to finish ur food, I went to a place who only had the sign to scare everyone to not...

However, we got the buffet and I wouldn't do that again. The things I look for in a buffet are pretty simple. I would like to see basic food safety. Follow first in-first out procedure. Hot food should be hot. Cold food should be cold. And the food should be flavorful. I understand some items don't improve on a steam table. But, if it all tastes good I can handle texture changes.
This buffet didn't hit any of those marks.
The proper procedure for refilling containers on a buffet should be to remove the almost empty container from the steam table, place the full cambro in the slot, then pour any leftovers from the first container on top of the new food. This minimizes heat loss for hot food ensuring most things are kept in the safe temp range. It means older food is eaten first. Multiple times I watched staff dumping new food on top of old. This isn't safe or sensible. Food that should have been hot, like the fried rice was cold. Really cold.
The food was pretty bland. There were not enough veggies. The few veggie options were just okay. The texture on the string beans was good even after sitting on the steam table. But they had no flavor. Where was the garlic, chili, or umami?
Things I loved. The trip was saved by a few items. The chicken wings were amazing. So were the fried sesame balls with the red bean paste inside.my husband liked the banana pudding.
And, my final measure of any restaurant was actually checked off. Yes, Virginia, there was soap and hot water in...
Read moreYou only have a 2 hr limit, after I was there eating for a minimum of 45 minutes I felt like I was being rushed to leave. They gave me my check right away because it seems like they thought I was not going to pay and every 5 minutes they keep opening the check book. That was unsettling to eat in peace. I stayed 50 minutes mind you, I was only 45 minutes total of eating then wanted to get more but it's like they already gave me the check and kept checking it. Thought it was a buffet but they cut you off, I only had one plate of food then grabbed fruits and some stale cake that I didn't eat. So when I had my fruits went back to my table, I seen the check on my table. Felt like that was very rude, doesn't matter if I was alone I'm still trying to enjoy my break. And constantly being watched was another unsettling issue as well. Food was not good choices there. I would suggest the asian buffet in revere Massachusetts they don't have a time limit and way more choices, foods so fresh plus there's not a time limit and they actually ASK YOU if your done instead of rushing you and watching your every move. Imagine going for seconds and your check is there and as your eating they walk by and keep flipping the dam check book. They overcharged me as well during lunch why was I paying 21 dollars for a small ass plate and I tipped 7 dollars. Never again that was crappy...
