Had dinner with a friend recently (this was my 3rd visit there), was a few minutes late arriving, but luckily, got a phone call that he was already seated. Chips and salsa were already on the table - great! But no water or any beverages. Ok, we scanned the menu, decided what we would have - and waited - and waited - and waited - for 25 minutes - no one came near us to take our order or even deliver glasses of water (and there were plenty of servers buzzing about). OK. I got up to inquire at the front desk if anyone was assigned to our table. Apparently there was some confusion over who was supposed to be waiting on our table. Profuse apologies, order was taken promptly, and the food started coming. My companion asked for a bit more sour cream to go with one of the dishes - again, it arrived quickly in a little cup. Finally, at the end of the meal, our check was delivered, again with apologies for the initial confusion. I half expected that some comp would be offered for our inconvenience (maybe NC for the appetizer, or a small amount off the bill?) - nope. And they even charged $1.99 for the extra sour cream! Seriously? I would have been willing to overlook the initial confusion and inconvenience had they made some gesture that they were trying to do the right thing - but going above and beyond to charge for a 2 oz cup of sour cream was insensitive. Won't be going back. Too bad, the food is really good; treatment towards the customer? ...
Read moreI’ve ate at the Bellingham location a numerous amount of times (and love them) but am closer to the Milford location so I was excited there was a closer location to me. Unfortunately I was just very disappointed by almost everything. We had a couple margaritas on our table which all had a soap taste to them to me the sour mix in them was probably bad. The food took a really long time to come out and it didn’t seem busy at all. For the amount of time it took almost all of our food was cold (even the plates the waiter kept telling us we’re hot we could literally touch completely fine) The fajitas on our plates were all burnt and literally wouldn’t even unravel from the aluminum. I ordered street corn as an appetizer and asked for them to come out first with another appetizer we ordered everything came out together and the street corn was the absolute last thing and who looked like to be the manager told us the street corn takes longer to cook.. if that’s true then why is it offered as an appetizer? It should just be offered as a side. At the end we got charged for extra street corn on one of our plates when we only ordered as an appetizer then we’re told we ordered three and it came with two when the waitress had told us it came with three which is why we didn’t order 2 orders of it. Overall just very unhappy I’ll stick to making the trip to the...
Read moreI love mexican and mexican inspired food, unfortunately this didnt quite live up to my expectations. Overall it was a good experience, but I want to give an honest assessment. Lets start with the chips and salsa, a good metric for how the rest of the food will be; the chips were thin and fresh and the salsa was okay, 7/10. Ordered the Esquites which was also good but not as flavor forward as i expected. For entrée's i got the Three Amigos, which was mostly good but the chile relleno was way undercooked, the poblano was crunchy and hard, no char and no breading, also the beef filling was dry and under seasoned. The carnitas and sliced steak was nice and flavorful though. The rice and refried beans were fine but nothing noteworthy. What i can tell you is this, the place is very expensive for Mexican, and the quality is not on par with the price. I wouldnt say dont go here, but maybe dont order the...
