As a new customer in a brand new restaurant its important for me to accept a few shortcomings and not be so critical when I write a good review. The most important asset at I LUV PHO is that the PHO is outstanding! Better than the West coast. The Pho Bac Biet extra large bowl for $13.99 seemed to be bottomless. It was packed with rice noodles, meatballs, tenders, tripe, flank etc. It was delicious and beyond filling. The service was okay for a Sunday afternoon but these young servers need to be supervised. Laughing, joking, congregating and being on their phones is not good business. Some may find it annoying I on the other hand understand because i was young once too. Shayla Cruz mentioned the same thing but it does not reflect on how delicious the pho is. When my GF and I entered the restaurant we were invited to sit anywhere. Fine, I like that. After being seated the menus never came. My GF had to get up and get them herself. Strange, isn't it? The other thing that happened is that my order was suppose to come with bean sprouts, lime, jalapeno and cilantro. It never reached my table until I got up from my chair, opened a menu and read the entree again. I complained to our waiter, Dominick, who graciously apologized and brought me my condiments. No worries. New restaurant. New people. New servers. I will still go back to I luv pho because they are trying very hard and they aim to please. If I were to say nothing about my experience then that would be a great injustice. Live and learn. Paying attention to details, killing the customers with kindness and being consistent in your food preparations will keep you in business forever. A great job done by all of you! I can't wait to try other items on the menu. Good luck to the owner I wish you...
Read moreBeen an avid fan of Vietnamese food, especially Authentic Viet food as I was raised on it. Heard this restaurant was near me and wanted to try it out as it was a grand opening. This is my honest review.
Quality: 5/5 on the quality of food. Yes they have just opened and their service is slow but their taste is authentic and I'm glad I was patient for it. Would wait for great food than be served fast food that is mediocre. I had the Pho size XL and it was enough to feed 2 people so portions of food was definitely enough. No need to worry on that.
Service: 4/5 on service. My server Dominic and Sabrina were fantastic. They were kind, kept coming to us and asked us if we needed anything else. Although we waited a bit for the food, it was well worth it since our servers were kind and attentive to us.
Areas of interest: This place is in a wonderful central location of Milford. Couple exits away from the mall and its near several shopping locations (i.e: Walmart, Marshalls, and other shopping stores.)
Overall my experience was great and I will be coming again for another bowl of pho. Again they have just opened so their service will be better over time. I'd say give this place a chance as there aren't as many authentic Vietnamese restaurants out there and this is definitely a gem I'm glad I experrienced. Thank you...
Read moreGreat food, great service. The staff and owner are very kind and attentive. The food selection has increased since they opened in 2018, which is great. The bubble tea has a good selection of flavors. The pho selection is yummy and feels authentic. The taste is great.
2022 Update: Quality and service has dropped a bit over the years. When getting the bunch (cold noodle dishes), they switched to a thicker noodle that doesn't absorb the flavors as much, so unsure why that shifted. Staff service has dropped a bit, possibly due to COVID, as they switch priority to eat in customers. In personal experience, had placed a lunch order 20 mins before arriving, only to be told order wasn't ready when arriving for pickup. Had been asked to wait and sit in restaurant for an additional 40 mins in store due to "backlog", however seated, took order, and brought out food for customers that arrived to dine in, while I was waiting for food. No reason given, so not a good place for lunch time orders. Value for quantity of food has shifted as prices have increased ~30% ($10 - $13) since opening, which may be fair for location and general costs, but due to shift in quality and service overall personal rating had dropped from...
