Suites have good kitchen facilities including an oven which is super rare on the road. Front desk staff seemed a little over worked trying to stop other guests from having an impromptu party in the hotel foyer and not social distancing. There’s a pool and an ATM in the lobby. Laundry facilities work but ignore the signs, everything is $2 not $1.50 like the signs say. There is only one elevator and 2 luggage carts...so maybe consider taking the stairs? Warning about the fire alarms. They are extremely sensitive. Steam from the shower will set them off so close the door when you shower, and when you cook open the windows and use the vent fan.

Definitely a more dated Residence Inn but it’s well kept and the rooms seemed clean. One thing I did find odd is the signs all over the grass prohibiting pets from going on it. I don’t have a pet with me but on occasion I do stay at Residence Inn with my pup for the simple fact that they allow pets. If you’re charging your guests a pet fee allow the poor pets to use the grass, it’s not like you have high end landscaping or a decent yard you’re trying to maintain.. Just thought that was a bit odd. Parking is kind of strange here too but overall it’s not a bad place to stay.

Everything is as it appears but I wish some had told me I was in a room that if I use the left eye on the stove I would blow out all the power in the room. I called down stairs to let them know maintenance came about 10 minutes later and said yeah it was a known fact and that the part for the stove would be in about a week. THANKS FOR THE UPDATE after the fact!! I dont prefer to be in a room with electrical issues and i should have been told instead of the shock of the load pop when I turned the stove on.

This is exactly what we needed! Akeem was working the front desk. I arrived after in 8-hour drive from Ohio to be welcomed by Akeem and his associates. My room wasn't ready when I arrived. I realized I was 5 minutes early to check in. He asked how my day was going. I replied, "so if I said good I just spent to 8 hours in the car with my family and we were hoping our room was ready!"

He was very courteous. He went above and beyond all expectations. After some minor chit chat, he said to me that my room was ready. I informed him, jokingly, that if my room wasn't ready I would take an upgrade on the house!

Akeem went above and beyond what I could possibly imagine. Not only did he upgrade my room to the suite that had two rooms instead of one, he did it with a smile. I am not writing this review because I am grateful I am writing this review because this is what hospitality is all about minor chit chat with a upgrade that made my family super grateful for his keen knowledge to what hospitality is all about. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting the Milford area. Not because you will get an upgrade by simply having a conversation. But because they understand what hospitality is all about. Going above and beyond My expectations and anticipating my needs after a long grueling trip.

Cheers to Akeem and his attention to my words.

Thank you very much Akeem for taking care of me and my family if we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here at your...

I have stayed at this location in the past, but never again. Our room was dirty and needs maintenance and updates. The toilet seat was falling off, the seat itself was dirty,, with what appeared as either dry stool, or dry blood, I cleaned it myself when we got in the room. The couch cushions are torn. The king size bed is hard as a rock, we left in pain. The "sofa bed" is a joke that is not a bed it is a flimsy pad on top of a metal frame that is not usable at all. I requested bedding for the sofa bed, the sheets had blood stains all over them, no idea if they had been washed or not. No service for 4 days, thats ridiculous. I requested clean towels, and I was told, "If we have any", what do you mean "if we have any"? I received 2 new bath towels, yet my room originally had 4. The buffet breakfast also a joke. Pre-made pre-packaged food is not a buffet, fresh fruit options, apples, oranges, bananas. You are still using COVID as an excuse for poor food, poor customer service, poor maintenance of your facility, and a lack of overall cleanliness. At $300 plus a night you need to do better. We stayed at 2 other hotels on our 10 day trip, both had full buffet, daily room cleanings, fresh linens, and full service cleaning if requested. So what is your excuse? On a positive note they allowed me to check in 2...

I enjoyed my stay here. The lobby and rooms were clean and odor-free (odors have been an issue at other hotel brands in the past), the staff was very helpful in assisting me with finding family friendly restaurants and places of interest in the area. The kitchen was well-stocked and it was wonderful that food delivery could come straight up tot he room and I didn't have to leave my children to head down to the lobby. There were many other families staying there and the rooms must have been well insulated because I couldn't hear any of the other youth groups or families that I saw on the premises. The breakfast was tasty and fresh and the area around the food was clean. Even though, the juice ran out pretty quickly. It was too cold to use the pool but from what I could see the area around the pool and the pool itself looked clean and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and as far as this brand goes I have not had a bad experience yet regardless...
