Very sad to be giving this place less than a glowing review because I really like it a lot :( The shop is cute, the employees are very nice and fast. The food is great, very fresh and love that you can customize it however you want and there are so many options! Most of the time the bubble tea is pretty good too. I think there might have been something wrong with the machine tonight though because my taro milk tea had a very strong aftertaste of soap… I didn’t drink that much of it due to the bad taste but it did upset my stomach a bit. Natural Kitchen is brand-new and totally nailing what they do! Specializing in poké bowls, ice cream in bubble waffle cones, and boba milk teas, everything is fresh, flavorful, and true to their name. I loved the Chicken Gone Wild bowl, and can’t wait to come back and choose another one of their signature bowls, or create my own! The brûlée and strawberry boba milk teas were great too. I also really appreciated Natural Kitchen’s style of bubble cones - they’re a great size and not overwhelming compared to some others I’ve had. Food is AMAZING. Easily the best poke bowl I’ve tried in the greater new haven area. Fresh and delicious! We got 2 bowls that both were great.

However, we ordered online for pick up and prepaid, and it took us almost an hour from when we ordered to get our food. The order confirmation said 25-35 minutes, and when we arrived after half an hour they were not even started. The staff was very friendly, but they cleared through the line of people waiting to order before even looking for ours which was frustrating!

TL;DR - definitely go! But don’t bother...
